Where is your computer?

On a computer desk. (Well, technically the computer part is under the desk with the power-bar, modem, printer, a stack of paper, and my clarinet.) Also on the desk, which is one of those L-shaped thingies, is a pocket calculator, my monitor, a few scraps of paper with music notes scribbled on them, a pen, an ashtray, headphones, lighter, pack o' smokes, some CDRs, a box o' floppys, my CD rack, an amp, a desk calendar, digital clock radio, my synthesizer, a microphone, an ink cartridge for the printer, an African sculpture, a little rubber toy guy from Chips Ahoy cookies, and an election pamphlet. Wow! Lots of stuff!...Oh, and the keyboard, mouse, and mouse-pad are on one of those little slide out trays.

On a shelf/counter type dealie thing that is mounted to a big hole in the wall between 2 rooms. It's kinda cool because to work in back, you don't have to move any furniture, you just go into the other room.

Other. I've got a big, old-fashioned "proper" desk, and the monitor and keyboard sit on that (with the laptop beside the main monitor). The actual computer bit is on a unit off to side of the desk, along with the the printer, scanner and the other computer. At the back of the desk are the speakers for the main computer, and the laptop sound out is plugged into the hi-fi. The network hub and TV-out adaptor are on top of the main computer case. There are cables everywhere...

I play the clarinet, too! And the ukelele. I know six whole chords on the ukelele.

On my work desk, even though I built a computer desk to hold it, I would have to change the position of everything to utilize it, and more people would be able to see what I was doing while at work...
