Nope, until quite recently all my jeans have fit very easily. However, I'm down to biking just once a week (if even) and the scary result means they're getting a bit tight. Time to work on more biking and hiking!!

No, but in other zippered items I have, especially my winter coats when I was a kid - I use to get my zipper caught a lot.

I had a bad run with Venezia jeans, but they've improved their zippers in recent years (I actually had a long talk about the vagaries of zipper suppliers with a district manager) and I haven't had a problem recently. Since I usually wear big floppy sweaters, it's never been a huge problem, just a bummer. I've never had one fail due to stress, just bad manufacture.

I used to wear my jeans tight, and more than once the whole zipper ripped off the fabric, or just busted. Now I buy better clothes which fit me better &havn't had this problem in a long time.

Got to work in the morning, used the loo, zipped up a bit too enthusiastically, and bam! The tab comes up off the top of the fly. Spent 15 futile minutes trying to put it back, then the rest of the day with my gaping fly strategically obscured from view ...

The buttons in my pants fail far more often than the zippers. What you really don't want, though, is for the zipper to pinch.
