| LindaH | posted 19-Nov-2000 4:13pm Fortune, without any doubt! I'd absolutely LOVE to be rich, but I don't think I'd much like being famous. |
| LindaH | posted 19-Nov-2000 4:16pm Hi mandy. I was looking at old surveys yesterday, and read that you like Jackie Chan. So do I. I absolutely love him! Let's meet him together so we can plant great big kisses on either side of his face! |
| mandy | (reply to LindaH) posted 19-Nov-2000 4:43pm He is the perfect mix of brawn and humor. His body drives me wild. His sweet face and humor make me feel all warm inside. I love him. |
| Zang | posted 19-Nov-2000 5:40pm Fortune. Although I'm not that interested in either, more money is always a good thing. I would hate to be famous on the level of tabloid stories and autograph seeking fans. I wouldn't mind a small amount of fame, but I would rather be famous when I'm dead, and don't have to deal with it. |
| sexygirl | posted 19-Nov-2000 7:33pm fortune...then i would have whatever i wanted but without the media in my face all the time |
| Krisstah | posted 20-Nov-2000 2:20pm Fortune you can live on, where as fame, a few people like ya, but you got no money for anything... |
| Jemmy | posted 20-Nov-2000 7:59pm I don't know. Both seem apealing to me, even though I am fully aware of the lack of privacy. But fame could bring fortune...depends on how I got the fortune, and what kind of fame you are talking about. |
| TeddyMiller | posted 21-Nov-2000 2:43pm Fame, I'd say. It would be more satisfying (and helpful) to write a script and receive awards and recognition for it, even if I don't make much money, rather than to receive a chunk of cash for ghostwriting a script anonymously. |
| jkiehart | posted 21-Nov-2000 3:05pm Fortune. I don't want to be a known public figure. |
| jettles | posted 21-Nov-2000 8:53pm i would take fortune and that way i could give to all the causes that i wanted to and help as many people as possible. i have never really wanted to be famous and have no great desire to be rich either............ i guess i am assuming that fortune is to mean "being rich". i would be happy to have fortune in any way actually. |
| Kat_Da_Cutie | posted 22-Nov-2000 12:18am Fame rocks, money isn't everything and fame would have its perks |
| natsim | posted 22-Nov-2000 10:29am Neither. |
| Hotbabe | posted 25-Nov-2000 11:27am Fortune. Although I would prefer to be fortunate in the way that I have health & happiness as opposed to having loads of money. |
| mireillens | posted 28-Nov-2000 4:10pm Love, and Trust |
| nasale | posted 1-Dec-2000 9:28pm I don't live for either. I am content to be who I am(unknown) and I have no financial fortune. I am very fortunate to have my wonderful kids (grown) and awesome mother. |
| Grandizer | posted 5-Dec-2000 8:55am I would rather be rich and comfortable than known and poor. As my Granny says, "Why couldn't I have been born rich instead of beautiful", and as Someone else says, "Money can't make you happy, but I sure would like to try"... I wonder who thought of that and when??? I mean if it was back in the 1600's and you were rich if you had what we consider meager by today's standards, then yeah I can see that, but now, you can't tell me Gates isn't happy! |
| icurok | posted 5-Dec-2000 5:59pm I'm a private person, fame has too many downsides in that department. There's a lot I could do with a fortune, provided it was mutually exclusive to me being famous. |
| eva | posted 6-Dec-2000 10:53am i don't even know if i'd want either, fame destroys, but fortune can do the same. |
| autumnlight | posted 8-Dec-2000 10:23am fortune. You can decide what you do with your money but you can't control your fame. |
| Biggles | posted 9-Dec-2000 2:48pm It depends what I'd have to do to get either. If I was to be famous for stopping torture and saving lives, fine, but if it was for something terrible that I regretted, no. A fortune would be good, but not if it had been obtained through something bad, no point having it if you feel guilty about it for the rest of your life. |
