I'm not eligible to vote for President of the US, however I would vote Gore if I were.

John Hagelin from the Natural Law party. And I already voted (early voting. Ain't it cool?).

Isn't Gore a compulsive liar or something?

I was considering Hagelin (they're nice people to talk to. They suggested I form the 'Third Party Coalition' I was suggesting to them).
Instead I voted for Nader.
If I was 'two party' it would have been Lieberman, and his mannequin Gore.

I'm going to support the green party and vote Nader, even though doing so would probably help Bush get into the white house.

Al Gore is the man! He is intelligent, knows the issues, the country, the people and he is fair and good hearted. On the other hand, George Bush is bias and if could, he would wear his Klan outfit every day!

I would vote Bush, even though I think he's an idiot, because Buchanan and Browne are too far right for me, Gore is too left and Nader is the left equivalent of Buchanan and Browne. And I thought WE had crapty choices for national leader up here in Canada!

The left is dying in North America. Even in Canada, which is always had a left-wing party (the NDP) on the federal scene, they are at 8% in the polls and sinking.

The other distinction is social versus economic policy. I find the American Right to be more socially conservative, wheras in Canada the focus (at least, with right-wing government elected provincially thus far) to be on economics.

I have a friend (Canadian like myself) who voted in the 1984 US Presidential election. He was grocery shopping while on vacation in San Francisco, and a woman asked him if he would like to register to vote, so he did. When the time came, he spoiled his ballot. "I liked them all, so I voted for everyone!" he commented afterward.

Interesting to compare the results of this survey with http://surveycentral.org/survey/5706.html

It looks as though Gore supporters are more pessimistic about his chances than Bush supporters.
