| Maarten | posted 3-Nov-2000 9:43pm I'm not eligible to vote for President of the US, however I would vote Gore if I were. |
| Frostbrand | posted 4-Nov-2000 1:26am John Hagelin from the Natural Law party. And I already voted (early voting. Ain't it cool?). |
| sequel | posted 4-Nov-2000 1:36am The lesser of two weevils. |
| kaleb777 | posted 4-Nov-2000 8:37am Isn't Gore a compulsive liar or something? |
| anonymous | (reply to kaleb777) posted 4-Nov-2000 9:31am that's better than being a compulsive murderer! |
| kaleb777 | (reply to anonymous) posted 4-Nov-2000 9:58am Isn't Gore pro-death? He does believe in abortion doesn't he? |
| lara | posted 4-Nov-2000 10:06am I haven't decided yet. |
| Jemmy | posted 4-Nov-2000 10:59am They won't let me vote. But I don't really want to. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 4-Nov-2000 12:04pm I was considering Hagelin (they're nice people to talk to. They suggested I form the 'Third Party Coalition' I was suggesting to them). Instead I voted for Nader. If I was 'two party' it would have been Lieberman, and his mannequin Gore. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 4-Nov-2000 12:18pm Also: (California) Anti vet bond (Pro for years)(Nam vets are all at least 46 now, no draft since) Pro legislature in public pension Pro campaign disclosure & limits Pro private engineers Pro drug-rehab vs jail Anti voting for pollution penalty taxes Pro school vouchers Anti 55% school bond approval Pro 9 vs 5 LA Co.,CA supervisors Pro Fire/Animal facilities |
| they | posted 5-Nov-2000 8:53am Not registered. |
| tonycub | posted 5-Nov-2000 9:20am I'm going to support the green party and vote Nader, even though doing so would probably help Bush get into the white house. |
| ironart | posted 5-Nov-2000 10:57am VOTE PEROT/VENTURA 2000! |
| ironart | (reply to kaleb777) posted 5-Nov-2000 11:00am Doesn't compulsive liar = politician? |
| davethebrave371 | posted 5-Nov-2000 12:53pm Go Green! |
| kaleb777 | (reply to ironart) posted 5-Nov-2000 2:09pm Very true. |
| bill | posted 5-Nov-2000 4:12pm I'll take Gore to block. |
| Lizabeth | posted 5-Nov-2000 5:42pm I'm a registered U.S. citizen, and I'm voting for Gore. |
| ayannahtaylor | posted 5-Nov-2000 5:54pm Al Gore is the man! He is intelligent, knows the issues, the country, the people and he is fair and good hearted. On the other hand, George Bush is bias and if could, he would wear his Klan outfit every day! |
| Maarten | (reply to ayannahtaylor) posted 5-Nov-2000 5:58pm And he's pretty stupid, of course! |
| North79 | posted 5-Nov-2000 6:20pm I would vote Bush, even though I think he's an idiot, because Buchanan and Browne are too far right for me, Gore is too left and Nader is the left equivalent of Buchanan and Browne. And I thought WE had crapty choices for national leader up here in Canada! |
| PattyFlackOH | posted 5-Nov-2000 8:22pm BUSH all the WAY!! :) |
| Befkoning | posted 6-Nov-2000 9:47am I can't vote because I'm not American, but my pick would be Al Gore. |
| Befkoning | (reply to North79) posted 6-Nov-2000 9:49am Gore too left? You have no idea how right-wing he is for us in Europe! |
| msgman | (reply to ayannahtaylor) posted 6-Nov-2000 11:02am Besides, where would be be now if Gore hadn't invented the Internet? |
| Oscar | posted 6-Nov-2000 11:53am Bush |
| North79 | (reply to Befkoning) posted 6-Nov-2000 12:40pm The left is dying in North America. Even in Canada, which is always had a left-wing party (the NDP) on the federal scene, they are at 8% in the polls and sinking. The other distinction is social versus economic policy. I find the American Right to be more socially conservative, wheras in Canada the focus (at least, with right-wing government elected provincially thus far) to be on economics. |
| Zang | posted 6-Nov-2000 9:41pm I have a friend (Canadian like myself) who voted in the 1984 US Presidential election. He was grocery shopping while on vacation in San Francisco, and a woman asked him if he would like to register to vote, so he did. When the time came, he spoiled his ballot. "I liked them all, so I voted for everyone!" he commented afterward. |
| msgman | posted 7-Nov-2000 5:46am Interesting to compare the results of this survey with http://surveycentral.org/survey/5706.html It looks as though Gore supporters are more pessimistic about his chances than Bush supporters. |
| jjg | posted 7-Nov-2000 8:46am I just cast my vote for Nader. |
| phi | posted 7-Nov-2000 2:22pm OK, I wrote in someone who *was* running. Which 'someone else' option do I pick? |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to phi) posted 7-Nov-2000 10:08pm Who? McCain? |
| phi | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 8-Nov-2000 3:10pm No, McReynolds. Who had "official write-in status" in my state, and was running an active campaign, but didn't make it onto the ballot. |

| CaptainMurphy | posted 30-Nov-2000 4:52pm I like Bush because of the general Republican tendency to increase military spending. |
