Not often -- Dad is rather addicted to the stoopid telly, and he likes to eat in front of it. So much for family togetherness, huh?

I live alone. My brother and his family live in the suburbs. My parents have three homes that they move around throughout the year. We usually get together for birthdays, holidays, special occasions and a few other meals.

Right now I don't live with other family members. When we all live together, I'd say 75% of the time. Whoever is in the house always eats together.

It depends on what 'together' means. We always eat at the same time and in the same house, but we don't always sit at the table together. I don't think it's all that important to sit at the table and eat together, as long as we always spend time doing other things together.

The only time my family eats together is at Christmas.

That depends. I live with my mother and sister, so if you are counting my father, stepmother and brother in this, then it is seldom.

If you are only counting my mother and sister, then it is 2-4 times a week.

If you are only counting my mother, than it is 5-6 times a week.

my family, meaning my partner and i(and our cats) eat together almost every day.....but it is actually lunch because our schedules are such that that is the only meal we can eat together.

My husband is frequently gone, but the kids and I eat together every night. If someone is busy, we move dinner until we can eat together.

I think families having evening dinner together is very important.

Several times a year, my whole family; children, all the grandchildren have Christmas, birthdays (5 or 6 a year). We celebrate the grandkids birthdays. We also make an effort to have one summer swimming party at my home. Two of my children live within one to two hours from me. The other two live locally. When my grandchildren are with me every other week, we 95% of the time eat dinner together at home, sometimes we go out and eat, but together.

I don't live at home anymore, but usually on Sundays, my SO and I will visit with my parents and eat dinner with them and my sister.
