| BlueberryMuffin | posted 21-Oct-2000 4:11am Yes, very much so, because I get to go north. |
| bill | posted 21-Oct-2000 7:41am yes, but for a reason that has little to do with the holiday |
| they | posted 21-Oct-2000 9:18am I am very excited about it... I haven't been like this for years... We've gone crazy with presents for our daughter's first 'real' xmas.. (the last one she was only 2 weeks old).. we didn't even have a tree last year. |
| Jemmy | posted 21-Oct-2000 10:07am Yes! I love Christmas. Buying presents, recieving presents, 2 weeks of school. What is there not to love? |
| Jemmy | posted 21-Oct-2000 10:08am I just remebered something not to like. Snow. |
| Matt | (reply to Jemmy) posted 21-Oct-2000 1:51pm and since you dont wear coats, it must really be bad! |

| Maarten | posted 21-Oct-2000 8:45pm It doesn't mean anything to me. |
| mandy | posted 22-Oct-2000 2:52am Oh yes. I look forward to everything now.... |
| Jemmy | (reply to Maarten) posted 22-Oct-2000 11:27am Why not? |
| North79 | posted 22-Oct-2000 2:55pm I guess so..don't really think about it much! |

| kirst | posted 22-Oct-2000 8:06pm Yes! We're spending 5 weeks at our cabin in the mountains of Georgia. (Actually, the baby and I will be there for 5 weeks. My husband is spending most of January in Europe.) Can't wait...also my step-daughter will be with us for a week. It should be a blast! |
| Avocado | posted 22-Oct-2000 9:40pm Am Jewish, so Xmas is rather irrelevant. I'll enjoy having the 3-day weekend, though I've no particular plans for it. I've volunteered to cover shifts at work that week for people who are covering for me during the week I take off to travel 3,000 miles to celebrate my mother's birthday. |
| Hotbabe | posted 23-Oct-2000 2:30am I have no feeling either way, I never seem to get into the christmas spirit. |
| jettles | posted 23-Oct-2000 8:24am i have no feeling either way. my partner will be away and i will most likely be working. |
| Wicksy | posted 23-Oct-2000 8:36am I love Christmas!!!! |
| Jody | posted 23-Oct-2000 11:05am These days, Christmas looks like more work than pleasure. It still has a lot of meaning for me, but I seem to get less and less time each year to appreciate its meaning. |
| natsim | posted 23-Oct-2000 12:19pm Yes, because I'm moving home at the same time. |
| Enheduanna | posted 23-Oct-2000 7:54pm Right now I'm busy looking forward to my birthday. |
| Hotbabe | posted 24-Oct-2000 2:48am I usually find that Christmas is a bad time for me. |
| Oscar | posted 24-Oct-2000 2:55pm I never look forward to Christmas |
| kaleb777 | posted 25-Oct-2000 3:54am Not really. Last year I told my family we should have a minimalist Christmas - with no gifts, just a family meal. That idea has not caught on. It looks like It'll be back to buying things people don't need in crowded shopping centres this year. |
| Zang | (reply to kaleb777) posted 25-Oct-2000 12:51pm Was that influenced at all by the South Park Christmas Pageant with Phil Glass? |
| kaleb777 | (reply to Zang) posted 25-Oct-2000 3:12pm Oh yeah!, I forgot about that. I'm actually just sick to death of the commercialism. I mean they started selling Christmas decorations at Woolworths in September. |
| Guthrie | posted 27-Oct-2000 8:59am I plan to take a holiday over Christmas. |
| micah | posted 27-Oct-2000 11:17am Yes! I might get a computer, ~600 dollars toward the band's new cd, and best of all, skittles. |
| jzp | posted 28-Oct-2000 7:10pm depressingly commercialized clusterfudge? no thanks. |
| Befkoning | posted 31-Oct-2000 10:03am Yes, because I'm going to New York to a friend!! |
| jkiehart | posted 3-Nov-2000 3:03pm I sure am! It's beautiful! My mom's coming to visit, I love the shortest day of the year, I love christmas trees, I love seeing the tree at Rockefeller center and looking at the window displays and the musicians playing christmas songs in the subway stations, and "It's a Wonderful Life" and getting and giving presents and hearing from old friends, and reminiscing about when I was a kid, and the smell of pine, and the cold weather and eggnog and the lobster we have every Christmas Eve and... I get so sad when it's over... |
| TellerChick | posted 9-Nov-2000 11:29am I work in retail part time. Christmas, when you work in retail, is totally shot because of all the idiots that you have to deal with who don't understand that sometimes the item they want is sold out. |
| Krisstah | posted 16-Nov-2000 3:03pm I am very excited for Christmas to come, considering its only 39 days away! |
