I have never experienced this type of thing, but my brother, and one of my former roommates, both made comments to that effect, regarding constant zooming in and out, and fast edits on television. NYPD Blue was specifically mentioned as an example.

There's an English cooking show called "The Naked Chef" and the camera never stops moving. I can't watch it.

I also have trouble with those omnimax theatre films, which are like a film-in-the-round. It feels so real that I often need to take an anti-emetic to avoid feeling nauseous.

It never used to (not problem with Waves or Blair), but I felt a bit ill in the first hour of Dancer in the Dark. Might have been the switching back and forth between tripod and handheld.

Yeah, Dancer in the Dark was the first time I'd ever experienced nausea - only slight and possibly because my SO was in a really bad state!

No, hand-held camera cinematography does not make me repulsive or sickening. If I watched enough of it I might become slightly nauseated, but never nauseous.
