| North79 | posted 15-Oct-2000 4:34pm Its too complicated for me to guess, I am sure its pretty high though! |
| Jemmy | posted 15-Oct-2000 6:01pm I don't know, they didn't have all the food I ate, but this is what I had: breakfast: strawberry yogurt, low fat lunch: a samosa (indian thing i bought), and a diet coke supper: fries and 1% milk snack: a cup of raspberry chocolate coffee cocoa |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Jemmy) posted 15-Oct-2000 11:06pm We do eat kinda similar. |
| Zang | posted 16-Oct-2000 1:13am I have no idea. I checked the link, and realized that it would take an obscene amount of time to calculate anything resembling an accurate answer. So I took a wild guess and picked 3251-3500. If I'm wrong, it is probably less, because I seem to be losing weight lately. |
| Zang | posted 16-Oct-2000 1:26am Okay, after I looked at everyone else's answers, I figured I must be way out of line, so I looked it up in a reference book and came up with 1501-1750 range. That's based on a typical day if I eat something like: 3 cups of coffee with cream and sugar 3 bananas 1 small yoghurt oatmeal noodles a pork chop spinach a cookie |
| Hotbabe | posted 16-Oct-2000 5:54am I don't know, I tend to eat what I want, when I want, without even thinking about the calorie intake. |
| Wicksy | posted 16-Oct-2000 8:39am I am into bodybuilding (not drug related) so I have to watch out for my diet I guess I am on about 3000 calories split into a 60-25-15 formation of carbs, protein and fats! |
| Maarten | posted 16-Oct-2000 8:25pm I don't know and I don't care. |
| Maarten | (reply to Wicksy) posted 16-Oct-2000 8:27pm Did you see Louis Theroux' Weird Weekends tonight (16 Oct.) on BBC2? It was about body building! |
| Wicksy | (reply to Maarten) posted 17-Oct-2000 4:39am No I didn't. I don't enjoy the competition/freaky side of it. |
| Maarten | (reply to Wicksy) posted 17-Oct-2000 7:39am It was amazing. Especially the women. Nothing feminine about them anymore because of all the drugs. |
| nihon | (reply to Maarten) posted 17-Oct-2000 4:34pm Have you seen any pictures of the "kid Hercules"? There's this 5-6-year-old kid how looks like a miniature Schwarzenegger. Bizarre! |
| Jody | (reply to nihon) posted 18-Oct-2000 9:25am I saw him on some tabloid TV show. He looks unnatural, but his parents glibly state it's what he really wants to do. Ewwww. |
| nihon | (reply to Jody) posted 18-Oct-2000 3:29pm As long as they don't give him steroids or any other drugs, I don't have a problem with it. The kid says he's never had any candy in his life, and he doesn't want any. He eats only fruits, veggies, and grains, along with drinking only juices and water. |
| Maarten | (reply to nihon) posted 18-Oct-2000 4:12pm No, do have an URL? |
| nihon | (reply to Maarten) posted 18-Oct-2000 6:26pm I can't find one. I just saw a short report on it on Fox News Channel the other day. |
| supplicant | (reply to nihon) posted 19-Oct-2000 10:01am I remember being told by a teacher in primary school that body building before puberty is over and done with can have a serious effect on your development (and he wasn't referring to drugs). No idea if that is true or not. |
| nihon | (reply to supplicant) posted 19-Oct-2000 3:01pm I don't know. I suppose some wouldn't hurt, but intense training like that kid has had might have some adverse effects. I guess we'll have to wait and see. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 19-Oct-2000 3:41pm And my mom told me that there wasn't another person on Earth that ate like me! |
| romkey | (reply to Jemmy) posted 19-Oct-2000 4:11pm and I'm sure she's checked on each and every one, hasn't she? |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Jemmy) posted 19-Oct-2000 6:29pm She was referring to the way you snort, slobber, and lick out everything. She may be right. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 19-Oct-2000 7:17pm Very funny. Actually, I'm one of the neatest eaters I know. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Jemmy) posted 19-Oct-2000 8:03pm That's to be expected from someone who never picks their nose. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 19-Oct-2000 8:11pm I can't help it if I like to be clean. I blow my nose. The thought of actually picking my nose disgusts me. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Jemmy) posted 19-Oct-2000 8:13pm Have you ever seen cows reach right in there with their tongue and dish out an oyster sized whopper. Probably a good 300 calories right there. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 19-Oct-2000 8:16pm Ew! No, why would I want to look at that? |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Jemmy) posted 19-Oct-2000 8:19pm I shudder myself with gruesome revolt. Just picking on you. |
