nihon
(reply to kaleb777) posted 4-Oct-2000 6:33pm
Because that would be illegal.

Just as an FYI, the ACLU is working for NAMBLA right now in some suit where the father of a murdered boy is suing NAMBLA because one or two of their members had kidnapped the boy and murdered him. The ACLU says it's protecting free speech.

Yeah, right...

If anyone thinks every single activity on the internet is not monitored they are living in a dream world. Has anyone heard of Echelon? Spy bases are in the middle of the Australian outback that monitor every phone conversation in Oceania/S.E. Asia. Britain and the US have the same bases. Nothing goes un-noticed. All internet traffic in Australia passes through Canberra where there are HUGE monitoring computers. You can't tell me the NSA doesn't do the same thing in the US. I think they know where all the paedophiles are, but child sex is not a real priority for government secret organisations.
nihon
(reply to kaleb777) posted 5-Oct-2000 8:32am
They all may be monitored, but they don't read everything. They look for key words and phrases such as "Clinton must die!", "Death to Americans!", "plutonium", "top secret", "kaleb777", "cancer man", "pedophile", etc. * smile *

Yeah, that is my major problem with it. I like random url things, but I don't like being shunted off to some Ski Lodge or some graphic design company. I would guess that it just reflects the content of Yahoo's database; that yahoo has a lot of business sites in it. But *shrug* I don't really know.

Yay, I just got taken to a bad religious site... well at least it's something different * wink *
