| nihon | posted 30-Sep-2000 6:02am Asiatic Black Bear. They're pretty cool. |
| Enheduanna | posted 30-Sep-2000 11:37am Spectacled Bear |
| Jemmy | posted 30-Sep-2000 1:45pm Since almost all of them seem to be loners, I'd just have to guess the Panda Bear. But only because I think it's cool. |
| Zang | posted 30-Sep-2000 1:53pm I'd really rather not be a bear, thank you. The pictures are all really cute. I think the polar bear looks like he's having fun. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 30-Sep-2000 2:38pm Brown bear, sloth (juggling) bear comes next. I didn't know black bears come in the pale-blue glacier variety. Fishing, berry, & honey gathering with a variety of trees, waterfalls, & caves is important to me as a bear. |
| msgman | posted 30-Sep-2000 3:48pm Sloth bear. Definitely |
| mandy | posted 30-Sep-2000 5:37pm Sun Bear |
| Andyroo | posted 30-Sep-2000 11:08pm I would either be a Polar or a Grizzly. Both are Canadian! Maybe a Panda too...they look so cuddly. Maybe everyone would want to cuddle with me then. |
| smurf | posted 1-Oct-2000 1:19am Um, I luv the cold weather, and I don't really want any more than 8 children, so I guess I'm most like the polar bear. Can't say I fancy fried seal, tho... |
| smurf | (reply to nihon) posted 1-Oct-2000 1:20am Nihon, luv the survey!! It's so cool!!! |
| gdrago23 | posted 1-Oct-2000 3:33am I'd be the great big thoughtful Ranma 1/2 bear! |
| nihon | (reply to smurf) posted 1-Oct-2000 5:44am How's Smurfette doing? Are you keepin' ahead of Gargamel (or whatever his name was)? |
| nihon | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 1-Oct-2000 5:47am Glacial-blue black bears? Where did that come from? |

| anonymous | posted 1-Oct-2000 8:10pm I think that your surveys should be more then 1 ? long and they should be about 10 ?ions and make them fun not stupid like some of these |
| SueBee | posted 1-Oct-2000 8:56pm I'd be a grizzly and nobody would mess with me! |
| Dragonette | posted 1-Oct-2000 10:28pm Cause there the biggest and strongest. |
| ham52 | posted 2-Oct-2000 12:16am I would be a panda because they need to populate and get to be many more before it is too late. |
| nihon | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 2-Oct-2000 1:46am Aha. I didn't completely read all the descriptions when I made the survey. I wish they had a picture. That'd be a pretty cool-looking bear (no pun intended). |
| nihon | (reply to anonymous) posted 2-Oct-2000 1:47am Yet another anonymous loser who's too scared to offer up opinions in person. If you think the surveys should be different, then make your own. It's not as easy as it might seem to come up with a decent survey. |
| Wicksy | posted 2-Oct-2000 5:47am Don't know too much about bears but I like this a lot!! |
| Wicksy | posted 2-Oct-2000 5:48am the 32 year old who voted this 'bad' is sad!!!!!!!! |

| anonymous | posted 6-Oct-2000 9:38pm Okay, well just so you know a Panda is not technically a 'bear', it's in the raccoon family.. :P |
| nihon | (reply to anonymous) posted 7-Oct-2000 2:59am Why are you too scared to post your comments as yourself? Afraid you'll be proved wrong and embarrassed a little? Anyway, to quote from this page, "Giant pandas are classed as bears by most scientists. Until recently, giant pandas were grouped with raccoons and lesser pandas (i.e., the Procyonidae (raccoon) family). This decision was based primarily on physiological evidence. In the late 1980's, DNA/serological studies clearly established that giant pandas are clearly more bear than raccoon. Some scientists want to place giant pandas in their own grouping but for most bear researchers, this does not seem warranted. |
| smurf | (reply to nihon) posted 7-Oct-2000 9:30pm Hmmm..... |
