| lelle | posted 9-Jun-1998 10:38pm I think she's pretty cool. Insomniacs are always weird. I have a cookbook by her, it's got some really nice dinners and some strange stuff... And she is not a 'thing'! |
| BadtzMaru | posted 10-Jun-1998 1:09am Super cheesy! I also can't stand crafts-type crap (homemade puffy photo albums, glitter-&-rhinestone shirts, etc). |
| Jaime | posted 10-Jun-1998 3:16am I don't know... |
| lizzie | posted 10-Jun-1998 9:02am You needed an Obligatory Other Answer choice above. I think Martha Stewart is an annoying control freak, but she does some interesting things...if only i could fast forward through the annoying, useless stuff to get to the interesting things... |

| reality | posted 10-Jun-1998 9:55am Who is Martha Stewart? (I picked neutral). I have heard of her.. but don't know what she does or represents. |
| romkey | posted 10-Jun-1998 10:06am I think Martha's more butch than most Star Trek characters. |
| lisashea | posted 10-Jun-1998 10:59am I think it's neat to see Martha Stewart things, just like it's neat to go roaming the Newport Mansions to see the art and elegance possible with "money as no object". Sort of like going to St Patrick's in New York to see the incredible artwork possible with the church's money. It doesn't have anything to do with my own personal life, tho. |
| steve | posted 10-Jun-1998 3:03pm Not terrible, exactly, but very, very scary. |
| Resy | posted 10-Jun-1998 4:45pm where is the answer for 'nauseating' ? |
| jjg | posted 10-Jun-1998 6:26pm Martha Stewart is someone who needs a life. |
| elijahblue | posted 10-Jun-1998 8:36pm ...vaguely annoying, but fortunately I'm not exposed to her that much. *** Bill: getting ready to turn SC over to jen, are you? :) |
| hunter | posted 10-Jun-1998 8:50pm There are a lot of things about Martha I don't like, but I do like her little touches...not the "bake all day, arrange your own cultivated flowers," stuff, but the "sprinkle cinnamon for an easy dessert finish," or "set the table carefully" are things that one can do, irrespective of one's budget, that make your life more beautiful and I think that's a positive thing, so I can't call her evil. I've enjoyed looking through her magazine a few times for just this attitude. |
| bill | posted 11-Jun-1998 8:27am I like her because she's a powerful woman in our society, and I'm sick of all the powerful men. EB - Jen doesn't need my help to be powerful, she's already kick-ass. Plus I would never give something away, people should work for what they get |
| fiore | posted 11-Jun-1998 11:05am She's a total babe! hahahaahahha vanadium good survey! |
| svjetlonosa | posted 12-Jun-1998 3:11am Never heard for her |
| phi | posted 14-Jun-1998 6:56pm A good camp subject (Patrick Stewart's line from Jeffrey comes to mind) does not make a Good Thing. |
| ron2112 | posted 15-Jun-1998 4:13pm She is a demon sent from hell to keep white people bland. |
| kadai | posted 15-Jun-1998 8:01pm She's an abomination, gilded turkey carcasses -eeeew. |
| Jody | posted 1-Jul-1998 4:24pm And there's this new book out indicating she is actually a neurotic, overcontrolling b*tch. *phew*. I always feel better when people more beautiful, together, organized, and successful than myself have character flaws. |
| daver | posted 1-Jul-1998 4:37pm **kadai: Gilded turkey carcasses? Do I really want to know? |
| rubylillysue | posted 4-Nov-2007 9:31am Who? |
