| Maarten | posted 29-Aug-2000 8:02pm I love autumn... so let it come!! |
| dab | posted 29-Aug-2000 8:54pm A little bummed. Another summer gone and I hardly got outside to enjoy it. |
| Zang | posted 30-Aug-2000 2:46am I don't feel bad about it, but I like summer, and autumn leads to winter which means cold and rain which I don't care for too much. No big deal though... |
| Hotbabe | posted 30-Aug-2000 10:55am It makes me want to escape to the other side of the equator where the sun is shining. |
| Hotbabe | (reply to Maarten) posted 30-Aug-2000 10:57am I suppose autumn is a bearable season, its just knowing that a freezing cold winter is on its way which makes it bad. |
| natsim | posted 30-Aug-2000 11:21am I feel hopeful because after Autumn I will be moving home to Summer in Australia. I also feel nervous because it's a big move. Every red leaf I see makes me think "I'm leaving this place" in a sort of sad, sort of happy way. |
| bill | posted 30-Aug-2000 12:09pm feeling like I might have to go and change everything, again |
| sexbomb | posted 30-Aug-2000 1:20pm Frustrated. No wild outdoor sex for me until next summer. |
| mary | posted 30-Aug-2000 2:13pm Worried, agitated, unhappy, dread, tired, uneasy, crapty, pissed off, grrrrrr |
| Jemmy | (reply to Hotbabe) posted 30-Aug-2000 3:27pm I know what you mean. I think winter is the most depressing season. I can't stand the cold and darkness. |
| Oscar | posted 30-Aug-2000 4:18pm I can't wait for it to start snowing!!!! |
| Enheduanna | posted 30-Aug-2000 6:16pm I always have a sense of anticipation as autumn approaches. |
| sunshine | posted 30-Aug-2000 6:51pm Yeah!! Heading back to much nicer temperatures. (40's to 60's) |
| anonymous | posted 30-Aug-2000 8:11pm I'm ready for FOOTBALL!!!! |
| TwistedIvory | posted 31-Aug-2000 12:40am I have a lot of conflicting emotions; I anxiously await the future to be spent with my girlfriend but dread being apart (I moved out and am in college now). It's 40 minutes back to my former residence (near her) and I don't have my car for the first semester. I'm hopeful, as this is the start of an essentially new life, and reflective upon my previous 18 years. Hmmm. . . |
| Nicky_Reefer | posted 31-Aug-2000 7:21am Time just keeps on rolling on doesn't she |
| Andyroo | posted 31-Aug-2000 10:33am I feel excited because if the seasons go fast, I'll be home sooner and be able to be with my Buki. |
| cinamonn | posted 31-Aug-2000 6:25pm Fall has always signified beginning to me |
| doddie | posted 31-Aug-2000 7:04pm My favorite season. |

| micah | posted 1-Sep-2000 4:39am Excited, happy, and hopeful. I have a lot of faith that the upcoming season will be....fruitful. |
| wynkin | posted 1-Sep-2000 10:11am I feel cheated. It has been a cool, wet summer and I live for hot weather. We were stuck in forever spring and now we are moving to autumn. |
| Pooh_Bear | posted 1-Sep-2000 10:40am I'm unhappy because I had a baby in June and I have to go back to work after Labor Day and put my baby in daycare. These last 3 months went by too quickly. |
| greendragon | posted 1-Sep-2000 1:17pm I am happy, excited and hopeful for the coming autumn. I'm going back to school, and my daughter is starting the first grade! New stuff for both of us! |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 1-Sep-2000 4:20pm I feel excited, happy, calm, renewed, relieved, reflective, and cozy. Autumn is my favourite season. Its approach signifies the end of the wretched heat and sun, and the return of sweaters, hot cider, snowfall, and all the tranquility that goes with it. |
| mandy | (reply to Pooh_Bear) posted 1-Sep-2000 9:37pm I am so sorry. ((((HUG))))Have you looked into alternatives? Is there any conceivable way you can stay home with your baby? |
| msgman | posted 2-Sep-2000 9:39am I like autumn, the "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness". It has a refreshing kind of feel after the heat of summer, and out in the countryside it's probably the most sensual of the seasons - you can feel and smell autumn in a way that you can't with any other time of year. It's a time of fresh English apples, harvesters in the fields, crisp mornings that make waking a pleasure and blustery days that excite the senses. It's also the start of the new football season |
| mandy | (reply to msgman) posted 2-Sep-2000 2:40pm Except for that last line...You almost had me I love it too...nicely put! |
| Annie57 | posted 4-Sep-2000 2:56pm Most gorgeous of all seasons in the Northeast; absolutely love the Fall |
| Hotbabe | (reply to Jemmy) posted 5-Sep-2000 6:35am It also seems that the cold, dark winter will last forever. I also hate having to wrap up and feel trapped in my clothes. If only I could hibernate lol |
| jkiehart | posted 7-Sep-2000 11:24am I say Autumn can't come fast enough! |
| MsBuDs1 | posted 8-Sep-2000 11:50am Nothing better than jeans, sweater and boots |
| sunset_stripper | posted 9-Sep-2000 4:52am New Zealander here, so it's changing from Winter, to Spring. |
| wesley | posted 9-Sep-2000 10:49am It's great. The brisk, crisp feel of the air is wonderful. The smell of burning leaves. Watching the ducks flying overhead in V formation heading south , honking as they go. The sights and sounds and smells of autumn are unique. |
| North79 | posted 14-Sep-2000 12:42pm Its good, because all the trees turn nice colours and WINTER is coming soon! |
| Jeanne | posted 16-Sep-2000 6:58am I love the autumn, I love the winter, I love the spring, I really am not fond of the summer, however, I need the light. With every season, there is a change in emotion, as our body changes with the season. Even though I love autumn, emotionally I feel a little dread, maybe because of the light. I think it is so strange sometimes that the season that offers the most light is the season I dislike. I don't like heat at all. If it is a summer day with no heat that is great, but the season generally I don't enjoy. |
| orion | posted 20-Sep-2000 3:14am After the summer here (St. Louis), Autumn just ain't getting here fast enough. I know it gets hotter in other places but our humidity sucks. |
