I believe that even a starving child in a third world country can be happy and that they have the power within themselves to be happy or not. I also think that if they really want and need to change their situation, only they can do it for themselves. Any help from "us" will at best be a bandaid and at worst fudge them up even worse than they are already.

To take that further, who is to say that a starving child is not on some kind of spiritual path that is a something of their own creation or choosing?
Who is to say that they are not learning something they needed to learn to reach whatever kind of enlightenment their soul/spirit desires?
I would hate for my struggles in this world to be lessened and or eased because I would never have learned the lessons I so obviously needed to learn.
The world doesn't have to be fair and equal, world peace and food for everyone doesn't have to come about, in fact, I believe that if those things came to fruition, it would be a great disservice to all our souls.

The world is an incredible place where you just need to open your mind to the endless possibilities awaiting you.

The world is an opportunity to do good, to help, to encourage, to learn, to love, and to grow.

The world is a place where we live. Some have a good life, some have a bad life like mine. But I can't complain to much, but there is just so much more we could all have. The world is where we stay until we go onto happiness.
