Where's the "I'm not married to Bill, but I want to be" option? :)

**romkey: It's a good thing I was done with my coffee. Getting a new monitor from my MIS department would take a while...

Actually, I don't remember. No one told me about it, but I'm not sure whether I surfed here from another page, or found it in a search, or what...

Ms. Hunter told me about it, for which I shall ever be grateful.

It was on a newsgroup, but it's funny that I now can't find it. (I hardly ever look at newsgroups.)

Cool, I always wanted my very own answer!

Here are the places I know I've advertised:
  • There's a link at the top of www.apocalypse.org
  • There's a link on my home page
  • There's a link on the IRTC -CD (year one), in my bio...
  • I posted a message to comp.infosystems.www.announce (not very effective)
  • I sent a message to a private mailing list I'm on with some old gweepy college friends. (very effective!)
  • A long time ago, I submitted my site to a bunch of search engines and stuff. (not very effective, they don't seem to swallow CGI scripts very well)
  • A freelance writer, named Pam O'Connell exchanged some email with me and some other Survey Central users while researching an article she was writing on Survey sites on the web. The article is yet to be published, but she was writing it for the NY Times! (if this does get published, you coudl imaging a big increase (10 fold?) in users.
  • When I got to parties (not very often) all I ever talk about now is Survey Central.
  • If I were to pursue more advertising, I would probably send messages to web-page reviewers... I'm not sure I need or want to advertise more though.

yay comments.... it was a 'hey do you remember this at WPI? yeah, well there is a web site for that now.' roughyl and incorrectly paraphrased and there was two or three followups asking the person until I remembered the address.

*** lisashea- I thought that option might be politically inexpedient and decided to ignore it. *** daver - we aim to please... :) atzilut - get over it. there's only one *original* way you found out about Survey Central. Multiple selections did not express the question I wished to ask.

jefff was complaining to bill about how many surveys there are and how long it takes to read them all. I was instantly inspired to make a new survey, so I had to find out what he was talking about.
