I believe she's referring to the safety-belts and huge, rubberized metal bars that clamp down over you to prevent you from moving.

Those are only on the newer rollercoasters really. The really old ones were safe enough to only have very very minor restraints. I have been on one here you can stand up on (they don't *want* you to, but there's nothing to stop you).

What prevents you from flying out of the seat when you go down a hill?

The oldest roller coaster I've been on was built in the late 1960's/early 1970's. It only had safety belts to hold you in and you still lifted off the seat when it would drop because they didn't hold well (a terrifying experience)(it has since been torn down). If sex was possible on a rollercoaster I would have tried it by now but I just can't see it on any I've ever been on.

Easy!!!! It wasn't one of the huge rollercoasters, but it was a pretty small one that DOESN'T go upside-down and just needs a seatbelt

None of the dips were that big/steep... you did sort of bump out of your seat a bit though And there was a little rail you could grab... so you won't go flying, but nothing to stop you having sex either (um except the two dozen kiddies in with you and the attendant who stands up next to the manual brake and goes around with you all... but then maybe that would just add to it all ) I'm not sure exactly how old this rollercoaster is but I think "very" would about cover it

Ah, the internet holds all... Just checked and the park containing this rollercoaster opened on Friday December 13 1912, and the rollercoaster was there then (called a "Scenic Railway"). As far as I can tell it has remained unchanged except for repairs. I had a feeling it was close to 100 years old, so as you can imagine it's not quite as exciting as a modern one

No. Apparently in some areas there are terribly old and unexciting rollercoasters with very little restraint that would be easy to do something on.
