What do you think of this poster?

Not much. I don't think it is particularly clever. It certainly doesn't offend my sensibilities. I don't even know who the guy is. I mean, apart from what info I got from the poster. I am opposed to capital punishment, but it has been outlawed here in Canada for many years. No one has been executed in my lifetime. So it isn't a burning issue for me. Burning issue? Get it? I made a bad pun!

Is he the only one who supports the death penalty, I don't think so. There are others out there. This is just a slam against a candidate who is running for president. If it wasn't then there would be others pictured with him.

I don't really believe in capital punishment, sp I kind of agree, but I have my own theory on the subject

I don't think it's sick for someone to be against the death penalty, but I don't think it's fair to target Gov. Bush or any other governor of a state that has capital punishment. Gov. Bush is doing his job as governor which is to uphold the law. Tim McVeigh is a murderer. OJ is a murderer. George Bush is not.

not likely sunshine, george w. is executing prisoners at a higher rate then anyone else in the country and has taken away many of the available appeals for these people. he would be there even if he wasn't a candidate. the death penalty is not a presidential election issue because both bush and gore are pro death penalty.......

I don't really care since I'm not American.

I think the person who made it should be made to live with those who they want to save from execution.

It is stupid. Bush is not a judge. He does not hand out sentences! He does not even have the power, in his state, to commute a sentence! He only has the power to stay the execution for 30 days. And the law limits that to only 2 times! Bush has exercised that option several times, one time the guy had DNA tests, and the court overturned his sentence!

So, it is a political trick, aimed at swaying voter's minds, who forgot that clinton/Gore ran on a PRO death penalty ticket!

I have something else to say:

I think it's just dumb. Odd that there wasn't an option for that.
