I worry a whole lot (I marked 7). It sometimes keeps me awake at night. I'm deathly afraid of some insects, specifically roaches. I often worry that something might happen to my LifePartner (a car wreck?). Global happenings and society in general worry me constantly. And always - Money and paying bills.

I used to worry a whole lot about the health of my Loved One, during what I refer to as Tom's Medical Adventure, but that's fading into the past now and I manage not to think of it very often.

I don't worry about most of the standard things. The only thing that worries me are impending social gatherings. Just thinking about upcoming birthdays, weddings, etc are enough to make me go fetal under the desk. Maybe its a phobia.

I try not to worry, because I don't find it productive or pleasant. If I'm not able to take some action regarding the subject of worry, then I work really hard at putting it out of my mind and not fretting over it. Sometimes I have little worry fits, where I just go ahead and indulge in an hour of fretting over some problem and try to force myself to a solution. But there are recurrent things that vaguely concern me or that keep cropping up. Interesting capitalization, by the way.

I worry about social encounters (before they happen), I worry that I wont come off well or I wouldn't be interesting enough. I worry about my wife's health. *** Yes, Jonas, "impending social gatherings" - that's what gets me too. Sometimes, I can get to a point where calling someone is unbearably hard to do.

Health, finance and work. I don't worry much about anything else. I especially do not worry about things outside my ability to change.

I don't tend to worry about much at all. A little school related stress occasionally, but I wouldn't label that as worry.

I really don't worry about much. Mostly just small details in things that are going on, and I'd barely call them worries.

about things I can't understand, so I'm in a permanent "worry-state", not very hard, but persistent...

In general I don't worry much. I figure that what happens happens, but of course I worry (mainly for the safety of others) at times.

I am quite a worrier. I expect to have a nice ulcer by age 30.

I worry mostly about others. I tend to be someone people talk to, and I can't help but to get worried about them all... :) Besides, it's my job to worry about everything, according to Ericpat.

I worry about whether or not I should dump my current boyfriend since he's being such an ass.

Just my own thoughts. I always try to do my best, so I don't worry about money or love or such. I live on what I make, I work on keeping my relationship "loving". But sometimes I say things that are misinterpreted, or don't explain myself well, and then I worry for days about how the other person took it. "Why did he stop emailing me? Did I misspeak?" That sort of thing.
***eb: I think you're biased :) Sometimes people get cranky ... I soothe my boyfriend when he's cranky, because he gives me massages when I'm cranky!

one can worry about relationships without worrying about 'lack of love'

I sometimes get these bizarre, intense, total anxious feelings, as though the spaces between particles were filled with horrors- Lovecraftian moments that I can't really attribute to anything.

"Work-related stresses," does not describe those stresses right- they're specifically 'ability-related.' I worry about whether a project will turn out the way I intend, or whether I'll finish on time, but not about co-workers, promotions, bosses, etc. that I've heard other people describe as "work related."

I never imagined that people might get worried about "impending social gatherings," that explains a lot- I'll be cutting people a little more slack on that one in the future.

oh, yeah, and what phi said, too.

Artemis: no question. Dump him. It will never get better. *** lisashea: getting cranky is one thing, being an ass is another. I am not biased, just experienced. She shouldn't waste her time. *** topper: anxiety disorders are one of the few things psychology can almost always cure (not just help you cope with, cure). It might be worth it to get yourself checked out...

I worry about nothing. At least it's so minimal, that it usually dissipates after a short period.

One of these I worry about (Financial); some of these are frequently in my thoughts, but I wouldn't call it worry, just awareness (Safety outside and my own thoughts).
**Hmmm...Upon seeing lisashea's comment, I realized that I do the same thing. I worry about being misinterpreted. I don't really mind if someone doesn't like something that I believe. I do mind if what they think I believe is incorrect.
**reality: Gee, is it because he goes by the name 'haywire'?

I think far too much... and am paranoid in the extreme.. I worry about everything.. I'll cover each of these and more over the course of any given day. I don't dwell on any one very long (usually), but it crosses my mind and I ponder a bit, if no solution (or no different than the previous day) presents itself I move on. **joe: it is not much of a worry as it is extremely unlikely, just something that comes to mind once in a while(based on once incident in the past, which was provoked, but not by me or against me). I can easily conceive of this person just snapping and going off the deep end. as I said at the beginning of the comment, I am paranoid in the extreme. it may be more a reflection of my faulty mind than his. **** Daver: hrm.. maybe.

I used to worry about everything, then I realized it didn't do any good so why bother. I gotten much better about not worrying and the stress factor has been greatly diminished as well. My husband was rushed to the hospital because a 400 pound control panel was dropped on him. I went into the hospital totally calm the nurses could not believe it. He only recieved a broken ankle from the ordeal.

I'm not much of a worrier. I'm too much of a here-and-now thinker.
