| Zang | posted 16-Jul-2000 9:09pm I can spot a boob-job a block away, face lift, of course major reconstructive surgery...however I know a woman who has had 2 nose jobs, and I never would have known if I hadn't been told. |
| Analog | posted 16-Jul-2000 11:03pm It would depend on the type of surgery, and how well it had been done. |
| Wicksy | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 17-Jul-2000 8:16am How come you make good surveys now? |
| joachim | posted 17-Jul-2000 11:01am The roommate of a friend of mine recently got breast implants. It was horrifically obvious. Actually it looked pretty terrible (well, under a sweater or something they were okay but in her nightclub outfit it was obvious and gross), though I guess they're supposed to subside some time after they've been installed. |
| Maarten | posted 17-Jul-2000 12:26pm boob job yes, face lift yep, other surgery I'm not so sure. |
| ayannahtaylor | posted 17-Jul-2000 3:15pm Yes, most of the time. They look fake like Michael Jackson and Sally Raphael |
| Maarten | (reply to ayannahtaylor) posted 17-Jul-2000 3:34pm Michael Jackson had plastic surgery??? |
| drdt | posted 17-Jul-2000 4:21pm vos: I think he had chemical reprogramming, which also produces a 'fake' look. |
| Maarten | (reply to drdt) posted 17-Jul-2000 6:01pm LOL |
| mandy | (reply to Wicksy) posted 17-Jul-2000 6:38pm He's been hanging out with me...and I'm a good influence!!! |
| sunshine | posted 17-Jul-2000 7:20pm If it was a complete stranger, probably not. If it was a close friend no problem. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Wicksy) posted 18-Jul-2000 12:59am That wasn't very nice! My surveys have always been good. They just weren't worded right, or a rather large and opbvious spelling and/or grammatical error turned people off. But I'm getting better at that, so now people can truly appreciate my work. |
| evanroks | posted 19-Jul-2000 1:53am wouldn't they be able to notice anyways? |
| jettles | posted 20-Jul-2000 2:00pm definitely |
| jkiehart | posted 9-Aug-2000 12:07pm I'd LIKE to think so, but those doctors are crafty! |
| barkalounger | posted 28-Aug-2000 7:32pm Not if the plastic surgeon is any good. I recently had a gland removed from under my ear. I was cut from the front/top of my ear all the way down to the lobe then back behind my ear making a swoop back down toward my neck. I thought that it would leave a huge scar, but in fact, you can absolutely not see the scar at all. (the surgery was 2.5 weeks ago) |
| North79 | posted 14-Sep-2000 12:40pm I think so! |
| Frostbrand | posted 2-Oct-2000 11:59pm Shouldn't it be if someone had had plastic surgery?" |
