No preference to size, but I prefer open minded people who respect each other's rights.

I'd prefer not being able to see or hear my neighbors, but also be close to a populated area with any services and entertainment I might need. Town/city size doesn't seem relevant to me, though.

I'm not sure, how many people does NYC have? I like that population.

It seems in the smaller towns everyone helps each other out.

I prefer cities that are big, but that don't seem big. Sprawling, I guess.

I'd like to live in a secluded location with a large city within reasonable driving distance.

I like my city. 168,000 in Worcester, more in the greater Worcester area, last time I checked. (If you feel that Worcester is part of the Greater Boston Metropolitan area, then this goes beyond 1 million).

I had a friend who used to make fun of people from Worcester. He called them "wuss-turds". Weird guy...

I liked Worcester the one time I drove through it on the way to Maine. * smile *

Five years in Worcester was more than enough for me. I feel no urge to return there. And while, from Worcester, Worcester may appear to be part of the Greater Boston Metro Area, from Boston, anything outside 128 is Far away.

A friend of mine had a great map of the United States as seen from Boston. Boston was at the bottom of the picture. Moving up in the image (towards the horizon), towards the West, were Alston, Brighton, Brookline, Newton, 128, Worcester, New York State, the Rocky Mountains and LA. I guess you had to see it but it was both accurate and very funny.

ALthough it gets all technical, because I prefer to live in Las Vegasm where I live. But if you forced me to move, outside of the metro-area, Id prefer to move to a 5-25k.

I swear. I will be a Tibetan monk (though a Wiccan monk at that) when I leave here; there's no doubt in my mind. I will reside quietly and comfortably away from people so that I may never again be hurt and I can be unbothered and free to THINK for myself and fend for myself.
For now, though, it's the suburbs. * frown *

I don't hate individuals, but I hate groups of people. For that reason I hate shopping centres and school and anywhere else where large numbers of people go

It's nice to know many of the people in the town you live in, but it's also nice when you don't know all of them.
