I'm not sure I could put it into words. I mean, it's more of a feeling that anything tangible.

It is looking into the ugliest part of a human soul and still finding something of beauty

It is forever without exceptions

It is unconditional acceptance and forgiveness

It is not about body or earth.....
but about mind and spirit and all the things held within the delicate spleen...things felt but not seen

It is Mallory. It is Susan. It is mine.

I love this survey. I'd love to see what others have to say. I think love has nothing to do with romance or sex. I think that everyone is the same person at a different time, all at the same time. I was either you before, or will be you sometime after my death. Which explains karma. What I do to you, I do to myself, because in the grand scheme of things, I am you. When I look into you and see your inner soul, which is the same as mine, I find love. Love is all emotion put together, as white is all the colors put together. Perfect balance. Good and bad in harmony. Super cheesy, but true.

Love is like friendship, but more, and deeper.

I think love is impossible to define properly.

Love? It means never
having to say you're sorry
at least in haiku.

Love is unconditional acceptance of another person. Not simply accepting their strong points, but also their weaknesses. It is forgiving when there seems to be none. It is faithfulness in the midst of tribulation. It is intangible, yet it can be seen and felt. It is a bond between the souls of two people that can't be broken or separated. It has no end, instead it just continues to grow.

I don't think unconditional acceptance is love.

If I could define it, it might not scare me so much.

Pretty much the same as anyone else's I'm sure. Tell you what, I'll let you know if I disagree with any of the comments posted above this one.

Okay, I don't have a clue what Twisty was going on about from the word "spleen" on...Nix to joachim's comments, (I associate that with some movie I never saw, I don't follow the logic at all...)Robin's "scary" thing...nope. Richard's search engine thing, and cody's porn thing.

Otherwise I agree with the above. Okay?

I found this great definition of "pornography" in Dave Barry's "Bad Habits", and I quote:

The dictionary tells us that the word pornography comes from the Greek words porno, meaning "publications," and graphy, meaning "that adolescent males gather around in junior high school halls and snicker at."

And by high school they are gathering around it and... oh, wait, I guess that isnt appropriate for this forum! hehe

Love is when your snowmobile runs out of gas on the frozen tundra miles from civilization. At night the ice-weasels come.

the snowmobile doesn't run out of gas. it flips over, pinning you underneath.

consider this: That the supple soft and tender spleen...not the obscene pumping vacant heart, is the seat of all human emotion.....

The only thing I know about spleens is that they rupture, and some people like to vent them.
