| ILJ | posted 15-Jun-2000 4:58pm I've been using Minoxidil for the past few months and the results have been well beyond my expectations. They say that it will prevent further loss in 4 out of 5 people, and cause new growth in a small percentage of others. I must be in that small percentage because I have grown a whole bunch of new hairs. Pretty cool! |

| micah | posted 15-Jun-2000 10:28pm I never have and probably never. In my family, nobody has ever gone bald. Good German and Irish genes. |
| jjg | posted 16-Jun-2000 11:31am I have no lost hair to re-grow. |
| wesley | posted 17-Jun-2000 9:19am My hair growth remains thick. No problem there |
| mandy | posted 17-Jun-2000 4:27pm only on my back! Yeah baby!!!! |
| they | posted 17-Jun-2000 9:32pm Hair sucks. |

| SueBee | posted 19-Jun-2000 1:22am That stuff is really expensive. I hope I never feel the need. My hair is kind of thin, but I don't really care. |
| Matt | posted 19-Jun-2000 8:37am My hair is really thin, I caught a sunburn this weekend hrm... One of the drawbacks of buzz buzz buzzing! |
| ILJ | (reply to SueBee) posted 19-Jun-2000 10:31am It doesn't have to be all that expensive. I get a two-month supply of generic-brand Minoxidil (which actually lasts me almost three months) for about $22. Could be worse. |
| joachim | posted 19-Jun-2000 4:29pm I recently cut off all my hair. The last thing I need is more. |
| SueBee | (reply to ILJ) posted 20-Jun-2000 12:08am Not bad! I think that's cheaper than the over-the-counter stuff. Although I realize now, I don't know how far it goes for the price I've seen. |
| ILJ | (reply to SueBee) posted 20-Jun-2000 12:21am This is right off the shelf. It's the generic stuff that's right next to the really expensive Rogaine. |
| SueBee | (reply to ILJ) posted 20-Jun-2000 12:25am Oh, maybe there wasn't a generic one available back when I priced it. (We were looking into the price for Twist's relatives in England at least a year ago.) |
| they | (reply to micah) posted 21-Jun-2000 12:40am Not anymore... it's just a little bit past my shoulders... Enheduanna: I used to shave the whole underneath half.... Since Mary came, I've thought about it a LOT. |
| Enheduanna | (reply to they) posted 21-Jun-2000 7:18pm It's amazing how much of a difference that makes. |
| icurok | posted 23-Jun-2000 6:23am No need to. Well.. not for a few years anyway! |
| Jemmy | posted 2-Jul-2000 11:09am I like my hair the way it is. |
| Biggles | (reply to icurok) posted 16-Jun-2008 4:43pm What about now?
(I'm liking "Inactive New" |
| icurok | (reply to Biggles) posted 16-Jun-2008 6:01pm I have more hair now than I did then! There was no way of knowing back when I was 25, but it turns out I have my maternal grandfather's hairline. It's not hair regrowth I'll be needing, it's "Just for Men" |
| Biggles | (reply to icurok) posted 17-Jun-2008 9:26am Nothing wrong with a bit of grey |
