The Star Wars sit down game was the best Arcade game ever. I could play that for hours on end.

I never much liked video games (different from computer games). Most of these are from a time that I had no money for them anyway. I guess pinball because some of the old ones were really cool.

Do they have Ms. Pac-Man? I used to be awesome at that game. ***steve: oh yeah! I loved Q-bert too! Thanks for reminding me!

RAISINS!!!! I cannot remember the real name for the game but I am sure some good gweep out there will fill in the blank. Use to play this all the time at ten minute walk in Worcester and did find it again at a rest stop in upstate New York. ***truss I can't believe that you don't know me...;) try looking at gweepnet...

I probably would not enter the museum...but if I were with someone who wanted to go, I'd head for the Millipede game. I've done this when dragged into a couple of arcades and managed to impress the kids around me, which is always fun. Now, if they have air-hockey and I have a willing opponent, I'm set for days.

Ms. Pacman is my favorite all time arcade game...though if Rampage, Dragon's Lair, Crazy Climber, the recent Dr. Who pinball game, the second StarWars pinball game, or Marble Madness...I have to play them all.

It's extremely likely that I would play them all, but stop number one would be the sit-down Star Wars console. That game was really something to behold at the time, and is still very cool. (And they'd better have a Tempest machine there, too. ;)

*** DOOM: "Raisins" (a.k.a. "Super Sprint with Missiles" :) was known to the mundane world as "Badlands." (And, if you don't mind me asking, who -are- you? I thought I'd identified all the people here that I knew... but if you know about that nickname, obviously not. :) *** Ok, that narrows it down to -two- people. Which of you is actually answering the surveys? ;)

Q-bert! Man, I loved Q-bert. ***Bill--I'm with you on the fighting games, which seem to be ALL there are these days, and boy does it make me feel old. ("Why, when *I* was a kid, we didn't have these nasty kick-each-other-in-the-face games! We played good, wholesome games where we blew up alien spaceships.")

I think it'd be interesting to see, but I've never been much of a video game fan... I do like to play pinball, though.***lisashea: I didn't pick pinball because I wouldn't look at pinball games preferentially to any others. It's just the only one I've played.

Space Invaders! Here in Spain was known as "Las Moscas".
*** Bill: Right! (I think you wanted to write "Flies":)

Star Wars is about the "newest" game there (I loved going there all the time) and I loved it - flying above and below the struts in the death star. I also loved Defender, but I remember back in "the old days" when Space Invaders was amazing. Ooooh I loved Battlezone!! Doh!

*** Seth: You're kidding?!?!? Why did it close?? (waaaaaaaaaah)

Tempest. I was always pretty fond of Hard Drivin' (Atari) too.. Mostly because it had a 2D cow you could run over, which caused it to "moo."

Other games I'd go for: Tron, Robotron, Sinistar, Tail Gunner, Rip-off, Lunar Lander, Major Havoc, Marble Madness, oh there are so many old games that seem to be gone now - but they were all so wonderful, made my childhood lots of fun. I detest the new fighting games (ala Mortal Combat)... *** Jaime, "Las Moscas" means "The Files"?! oops, yup I meant "the flies", interesting...

Sadly, the museum closed several months ago.

According to their web pages, the were losing money. I feel especially lame, because I lived there for five years without knowing it was there.

I would not run, I think you have to be older to really get into these games. Give me good old Duke Nukem 3D on my own PC at home or any of the fun games on the newer systems.

Tempest is the only video game I ever really could play.

I picked "would not enter", though that makes it sound like some kind of deep moral stance, whereas it's mostly indifference.

You're asking a video game. Giving me only one choice is kinda mean in that regard.
