I have heard of Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, Econoline Crush and Tragically Hip. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever listened to their music...perhaps I should check 'em out. |

You probably know Eric Singer from his days in Kiss...ESP is Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick (ex-Kiss, now in Union), John Corabi (ex-Motley Crue, also in Union) and Karl Cochran (from the Ace Frehley Band). This band was put together "for fun" and they ended up releasing an album of 70's covers. If you like 70's guitar-rock and great drumming, then I recommend you check out there album. |

You should, they're all really good. I think. Are you Canadian? |

No, I live in the U.S. |

Eric Singer played with a lot of bands, from Black Sabbath to Alice Cooper to Kiss. Bruce Kulic played with Michael Bolton for a while if I'm not mistaken hehe. I had heard a little of Eric Singer before, but really got to know him with Kiss. And also, if you can, listen to Moist, they're pretty good! :) |

Deaf AND dyslexic? |

I just read an incredible book called The Raging Quiet by Sherryl Jordan. One of the main characters is a deaf boy who is presumed to be mad by his fellow villagers because none of them is smart enough to figure out he is actually deaf...not insane. In one part, after a beautiful maiden teaches him this sort of makeshift sign language he tells her he thought everyone else was just stupid because they ran around all the time making fish faces with their mouths opening and closing for no reason...he didn't realize sound existed and that was how they were communicating. It was an incredible tale. |

But the question didn't ask whether you'd heard them but whether you'd heard of them! You may very well know many of these bands. And if you've never actually heard any of them, well, take it from me - you're better off. |
