Are you a true crime enthusiast?

I wouldn't say enthusiast, but I sometimes like true crime stories - more often than not even.

I've read a couple of Ann Rule books that were interesting, but I wouldn't consider myself an enthusiast.

Yeah, somewhat, I have many, varied interests when it comes to books. My most recent purchase, about three weeks ago, was "Canadian Crimes" by Max Haines. Digging around in the bookshelf just now, I managed to find "Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi, "Bloodletters and Badmen" by Jay Robert Nash, "The Suicide Cult" by Marshall Kilduff, and "A Trust Betrayed" by David Bercuson.

Yes! Crime! Crime!Crime!Crime!Crime!

Not an enthusiast, but David Simon's "Homicide: A Year On the Killing Streets" is one of my favorite books.

I have read a lot of true crime... I don't think either of these options fit me very well though.

I like true crime but I wouldn't say I am an enthusiast. I don't read true crime but enjoy educational shows on forensic science and serial killers and such.

I'm not really enthusiastic about this kind of stuff but sometimes I'm a little bit interested in it. No obsession or anything like that.My mom, on the other hand, has one police scanner in her house that she even leaves on while she's sleeping and a portable scanner to take outside or away from home.She really needs to get a life.

what do you mean by enthusiast? i love crime books or documentaries on t.v. but i don't encourage crime.
