I started a couple of times but I never developed the dexterity in my fingers that I needed to really play. I also didn't try very hard. |

16, although I didn't start to play in bands until I was 20. |

I took a guitar class in summer school when I was 9 years old. |

I played for a year when I was 8, didn't pick it up again until I was 22, then futzed around for a few months and pretty much haven't touched it since. |

My older sister got a guitar one year and of course I had to try it out. I wasn't much good and quit playing very soon. |

I used to have a guitar, but I really didn't learn to play it, just how to strum a few chords. |

When did you stop beating your wife? |

I first picked it up at 15. And I stop beating my wife next week. |

Is the guitar still intact after all that wife-beating? |

Enhe: It could use a truss rod adjustment after swinging it by the neck like that, but it plays okay. |

I don't remember, I wouldn't consider myself to be a remotely competent guitarist either. |

Does bass guitar count? I was a lass of 14 at the time. |
