| wesley | posted 23-May-2000 9:15am I wasn't wild about school but it was easy and what are you going to do without at least a high school diploma |
| mary | posted 23-May-2000 10:27am I dropped out 4 times, I just got my diploma, FINALLY! Getting my crap together. |
| AustinsMom | posted 23-May-2000 10:30am I dropped out of high school and got my GED... I am in college now wesley!! Although I feel you should stick it out because there is a lot of stuff you will miss out on if you do quit.... |
| drdt | posted 23-May-2000 12:59pm I didn't finish (graduate), but I didn't quit - I was there, trying to finish, to the last (and for a few months afterwards, until I had to start college at which point it became moot). |
| leemanette | posted 23-May-2000 1:14pm I quit in February of my senior year. I hated school and it was the best thing I ever did. I went to night school and got my diploma the same year and went on to college. Sometimes the timing is not right. My sister dropped out as a high-school sophomore and is now on her way to getting her second master's degree. |
| Jane | posted 23-May-2000 2:59pm I'm still in high school. |
| they | posted 23-May-2000 3:32pm I just read that in 2002, the GED test will be made much more difficult... and I am glad... It always pissed me off that I spent all that time and hard work to get my diploma and people can take a very simple test to get what is supposed to be an equivalent. |
| mandy | posted 23-May-2000 3:50pm I finished. |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 23-May-2000 6:42pm I got my GED but only because my credits got so screwed up from switching schools so many times that graduation was virtually impossible. |
| Frostbrand | posted 24-May-2000 1:36am Yepo. Just took the GED. |
| bill | posted 24-May-2000 6:35am If there had been a suitable alternative, I would have switch. I pretty much hated high school, but there were few other options. |
| Oscar | posted 24-May-2000 1:43pm Most definitely not. |
| anonymous | posted 27-May-2000 7:11am no |
| Andyroo | posted 2-Jun-2000 12:59pm Nope. I survived and am in college now. |
| cydonia | posted 2-Jun-2000 4:36pm Took the proficiency in the beginning of 12th grade and got out a semester early. I didn't see any reason to hang around anymore as I could care less about the graduation ceremonies. I'd only been waiting for my freedom my whole life, geez... |
| Analog | posted 3-Jun-2000 9:03pm I quit elementary school, and I'm glad I did. |
| cody | posted 4-Jun-2000 8:00pm Well, I quit highschool last year... but I think Im going to go to a boarding/prep school next year. It is such a complete and utter waste of time. The problem is that I intend to go to college, so I dont think I really have that much of a choice. |
