I'm not sure. I used to be. I don't think I'm really that nerdy, but I do have my moments. I can be a geek about some things, but they're not very typical topics--I'm an ancient near east geek.

Well, I am not a nerd but that is what my daddy nicknamed me when I was growing up, so to him I am. LOL

I never used to think so. I was always a loner, the person dressed all in black hanging out in a dark corner some where. But using the scale that is stereotypically used to measure a nerd I guess I am a bit of one.

I was not aware that deaf people can't type.

Gee, how very superior you must feel. I've actually been told that many Deaf people have more difficulty with language skills, written included, because they take in so much less standard English. I don't know whether BeautyStar signs or not, but ASL certainly has a different grammatical structure than English.

How courageous of you to address that to her anonymously. If you were curious about a young deaf gurlies typing and language skills, why didn't you just ask her with your handle attached?
