| icurok | posted 9-May-2000 7:28am There are Italian (well.. pizza), Chinese and Indian takeaways that deliver nearby. |
| guillem | posted 9-May-2000 7:31am Pizza. |
| natsim | posted 9-May-2000 8:08am I don't know. I don't get food delivered to my home. |
| bill | posted 9-May-2000 9:33am Just Dominos pizza, rarely. I clicked American, was that right? |
| romkey | posted 9-May-2000 9:47am I could swear that Indian was in the original list... |
| cpierson | posted 9-May-2000 10:35am Indian. |
| ILJ | posted 9-May-2000 11:05am Canadian??? Are there really Canadian food restaurants? What do they serve, back bacon and Labatt's? |
| bill | posted 9-May-2000 11:46am That's funny, I was considering making a essay survey with the question "Close your eyes and imagine Canadian food, what do you see?" |
| drdt | posted 9-May-2000 1:23pm Hurrah, Takeout Taxi! |
| mary | posted 9-May-2000 2:24pm Almost all of them, I live in a college town. |
| Zang | posted 9-May-2000 4:12pm I added "American & Mexican" after someone suggested it. I'm not actually sure what constitutes "American" food, is that like pot roast and tuna casserole? Can you actually get that stuff delivered? |
| phi | posted 9-May-2000 5:14pm Korean. Indian. Probably a bunch of others. |
| Pomeranian | posted 9-May-2000 6:18pm The only one I am not sure of is Canadian, and to be quite honest, I am not even sure what exactly 'Canadian" food is. |
| they | posted 9-May-2000 11:06pm This should have had an option for NONE. We live in a very rural area and can't even have a pizza delivered. |
| they | posted 9-May-2000 11:07pm drdt: Takeout Taxi is national? I thought it was just local to Cincinnati. |
| romkey | posted 9-May-2000 11:50pm Zang - I think places like TGI Friday's are American food... certainly burgers and sub sandwiches and chicken wings. In the Boston area you can definitely get that kind of food delivered. |
| sequel | posted 10-May-2000 2:28am Zang, what is Canadian ethnic food? |
| Enheduanna | posted 10-May-2000 10:12am Indian. Actually, probably pretty much anything if I'm willing to pay Dining In a buttload of money to get it. |
| drdt | posted 10-May-2000 2:40pm they: It is also local to Waltham, MA. It didn't occur to me that they might be a chain, but I'm sure you can't call them in Cincinnati and ask for a delivery from a restaurant in Boston. There is an analogue in Worcester, MA, where I live, but I can't remember the name. |
| daver | posted 10-May-2000 2:44pm **drdt: Waiters on Wheels. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 13-May-2000 7:08am We can get our groceries delivered too. Probably everything but Canadian. |
| Avocado | posted 13-May-2000 3:23pm The local takeout taxi hits italian, chinese, mex, indian, greek, hawaiian, and some others. Wish it did japanese, ethiopian, viet, and thai! |
| jzp | posted 14-May-2000 1:35pm what, no indian? when i lived in viginia, there were places that would deliver beer - does that count as canadian? |
| joachim | posted 15-May-2000 10:57am Do the Canadians even have food? I thought they all just ate leftover American food. |
| kirst | posted 18-May-2000 9:20pm None. We live in the marina part of a country club. No one delivers out this far (and security wouldn't let them through anyway). |
| pugmagician | posted 27-May-2000 1:00pm the only place that delivers here is the pizza places, maybe chineese soon to come |
| regis | posted 28-May-2000 2:28am medeterranian, greek, and a few others. there's an extra fee depending on where i order from, though. |
| clare | posted 4-Aug-2006 11:58pm None of the above. The only place in town that used to deliver was one of the two pizza places in town and it no longer delivers. The other pizza place is a take-and-bake place. |
