Do you find this appealing: Spending a week with friends - in a secluded but connected place, where you are all working on personal projects.

I guess as long as it didn't degenerate into a goofy festival. Having time to work on personal projects is pretty precious to me, and so is spending time with my friends, but often the two don't mesh well.

Not really. I would have to know what the personal project is and will the others be doing the same, will they see mine, etc.

Hmmm personal project...? Meaning....? Personal improvement? Individual projects from work? Changes in your "personal" issues.... But yes it seems like something I would like to do...

I love spending time with friends, hiking, camping, whatever. I also have tons of personal projects - poetry, photography, song writing, that I could do "around" them. It'd be fun to see what they're working on and also share my own progress.

I guess I'd need more information on what the projects were, what the place was, and whether we are tethered to our work or get to take breaks to chat or do stuff.

As much as I like my friends most of them would be dead long before the time period ended. I would spend most of my time looking for a nice heavy rock.

Oh yeah! I'm a very introverted person - but I like to be with my friends - so time when we're all together but in our own space is ideal!

Work part sounds weird. Being away sounds good.

yes-ish. if you are spending a week where everyone is working on personal projects, are you actually spending a week with the friends. it would seem to be more gathering where the work is being done, and the time spend with friends would be in between the work on projects, depending on how immersed they were in the project. it'd be cool to just hang out for a week with friends, especially away from all those pesky humans.

Yeah, sounds nice. That's a neat way to write lots of music.

Sounds like a supportive, cathartic, productive endeavor. Count me in.

Not sure what "secluded but connected" means, but the answer is still "yes" for all the interpretations I can think of.
