| mandy | posted 23-Apr-2000 1:59pm Right this minute I am down to lobes just. |
| Lauren | posted 23-Apr-2000 8:04pm Nothing, yet. |
| Hez | posted 23-Apr-2000 8:36pm The worst thing about a navel piercing is the it kind of hurts all the time when you move for awhile. You really get used to it, and it goes away. I would recommend it to anyone. Guys love it! |
| anonymous | posted 23-Apr-2000 8:51pm what's the point to this survey? if i could i would probably pierce more??? |
| SueBee | posted 23-Apr-2000 11:55pm Just one hole in each of my ear lobes, and I didn't have that done until I was over 30. |
| tcb | posted 24-Apr-2000 12:29am Only one ear, although I've entertained the idea of the other ear and one or both nipples.. |
| lion | posted 24-Apr-2000 12:31am tcb, I've thought about getting one of my nipples pierced, but the thought of how long it takes to heal and how much pain is involved tends to set me back. |
| Maggie | posted 24-Apr-2000 12:39am I have 2 on each ear lobe and then 1 at the top of each ear that is almost closed. |
| Zang | posted 24-Apr-2000 2:57am I'm a geezer. I still can't wrap my head around all this weird eyebrow, tongue piercing crap. I don't have a problem with ears, noses, and even nipples, but that other stuff...too wacky for me. Needless to say I remain unpierced. |
| joachim | posted 24-Apr-2000 9:22am I almost got my ear pierced in high school because everybody was doing it. Then I realized that everybody was doing it. I like to be different, to stand out in a crowd, so I didn't get my ear pierced. Same thing with tattoos, which lately have gotten completely out of hand - I am beginning to think that every single U.S. citizen has a tattoo. |
| daver | posted 24-Apr-2000 9:31am So that's why the INS has been so Byzantine in their rules; I just need to get tattooed and citizenship will follow. |
| mary | posted 24-Apr-2000 1:34pm joachim: You know why most of us have tattoos???? Because they are awesome!!!! I love them, if I could I would have my whole body done, but I am allowing myself only two, of which I can have work done on over and over whenever I want without going over board. |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 24-Apr-2000 3:11pm no piercings or tattoos |
| drdt | posted 24-Apr-2000 6:04pm mary: Actually, I think most of you have tattoos because all the other 'cool' people have them. |
| magbast | posted 24-Apr-2000 9:34pm drdt...i have tattoos...and i'm not cool..so there!! |
| mary | posted 25-Apr-2000 11:12am YA! |
| joachim | posted 25-Apr-2000 11:14am mary - how about a tattoo on your face? I have occaisionally considered doing the Harvey Keitel thing. |
| ILJ | posted 25-Apr-2000 12:43pm joachim...how does that old joke go?... Man (to tattoo artist): I'd like a tattoo, please. Tattoo Artist: Okay, what would you like a tattoo of? Man: A beautiful woman's face. Tattoo Artist: Okay, where would you like it? Man: On my wife's face. *rimshot* |
| mary | posted 25-Apr-2000 2:43pm No Way! |
| pcpr | posted 25-Apr-2000 5:33pm daver -- what an employee at Boston's INS office gave me as a "reason" things are taking so long is that their computer had Y2K problems and they were doing things mostly by hand -- that was back in January and I didn't really trust it given how easily people are willing to say "it was a computer error" and taking advantage of all the Y2K craziness way too easy. One of the signs posted there read something along the lines it takes about one year between the application for citizenship and the interview. |
| Frostbrand | posted 25-Apr-2000 11:00pm None. I have no particular desire to be like my mother. |
| LouLou | posted 26-Apr-2000 2:30pm I only have my ears done. I would like one in my eyebrow, they look so neat. |
| SueBee | posted 27-Apr-2000 12:49am drdt - That may be true for some people, but I think those of use who have more than one tattoo probably have them because we love them -- got one, and HAD to have more. It's probably not something you can really understand unless you've felt the craving for ink yourself. If I had unlimited money and didn't have to work with the public, I'd be covered with tattoos from head to toe. |
| mandy | posted 27-Apr-2000 6:48pm me too |
| bill | posted 27-Apr-2000 10:38pm Joachim, what's the Harvey Keitel thing? (I didn't see "The Piano", though I suspect it would answer my question) I restrained myself from anonymously posting "my soul" as a comment. |
| they | posted 28-Apr-2000 10:36am bill: You should go rent it; you get to see Keitel's penis |
| ILJ | posted 28-Apr-2000 11:27am they: Now why didn't they put that on the movie poster, I wonder? No, not the penis itself, but some kind of tagline: "The Piano...a touching film by Jane Campion...and you get to see Harvey Keitel's penis!" |
| romkey | posted 28-Apr-2000 11:37am IMDB should specially flag all the movies in which you can Harvey Keitel's penis. I think there's a few |
| bill | posted 28-Apr-2000 11:44am is his penis tatooed? |
| lion | posted 28-Apr-2000 12:13pm bill, its only a press-on tatoo. |
| romkey | posted 28-Apr-2000 12:40pm Lee Press-On Penis Tattoo |
| they | posted 28-Apr-2000 1:10pm ILJ: I would have been more likely to see it when it came out instead of a month ago, like I did..
|
| Enheduanna | posted 28-Apr-2000 3:01pm romkey: it's better than a Lee Press-on Penis (TM, as modeled by Hilary Swank in "Boys Don't Cry.") |
| gilly | posted 28-Apr-2000 4:29pm Three in the right ear lobe, one in the left ear lobe, one in the left ear cartilage, navel, clit hood. But that's all. |
| SueBee | posted 28-Apr-2000 5:20pm I've heard of a strap-on, but the technology must have improved considerably for the new Lee Press-on version. |
| bill | posted 28-Apr-2000 10:46pm Lee Press-On Clit Hood |
| Enheduanna | posted 29-Apr-2000 11:08am SueBee: there are still some problems with the adhesive, though, and the unit falling off during coitus has dramatically affected the marketability of the product. |
| Matt | posted 29-Apr-2000 11:51am what about the staple on version? |
| ILJ | posted 29-Apr-2000 1:26pm I had mine welded. |
| Enheduanna | posted 29-Apr-2000 3:35pm I've actually heard that the Velcro version is gaining in popularity. |
| anonymous | posted 29-Apr-2000 5:39pm "What's the ripping noise, baby?" |
| SueBee | posted 29-Apr-2000 9:22pm LOL |
| joachim | posted 1-May-2000 4:12pm Ok, you smuthounds, get your minds out of the gutter and please refocus on the fact that in the Piano, Harvey Keitel had tattoos on his face. |
| liquidliqhtninq | posted 7-May-2000 9:55pm Ear lobes, Right cartilage, and bellybutton...I want my tounge pierced so badly |
| leggs | posted 20-May-2000 4:53am My frenum is the neetest piercing! Guys if you don't have this one, you are missing pleasure! |
