Do you have a nickname for someone else that they don't know about?

For instance, my boss' name is Don Leiper. However, it is common practice in our office (entirely without his knowledge) that when he is referred to in his absence, we call him "Don Leiper: The Grim Reaper".

So do you have any nicknames that you use to describe someone that they don't know about?

VotesAnswer

9No (Everyone I have a nickname for knows about it)
5No (I don't use nicknames for people)

My first grade teacher Ms. Compos. I would tell you what we called her, but I think it's pretty obvious. * smile *

We have a lot of nicknames for people. One of my favorites was the nickname our hockey team had for our coach at university. Steve was known as the LPM (little penis man).

My husband and I have nicknames for his friends which he uses in my presence. I don't think he uses them in the presence of his friends because they are silly names, though he might have slipped once or twice.

Barely. I've broken down their name many ways as any good mystic would, but I don't use it.

We have a guy here at work named Norm. Just about everything he touches turns into a disaster, so I started calling him Viet Norm. I don't think he's heard it yet.

Yes, or at least I used to. I used to come up with amusing names for women I found cute at my college. It was easy to say "gremlin girl" than to say "that short girl with the dirty blonde hair...". I guess it would have been easier still to learn their names but I'm terrible with names.

I do not remember pen girl. I just remembered box girl a few weeks ago as in, I was riding my donkey to Damascus and I fell off and when I stood up I said: "box girl"! A very strange moment for me.

She was a girl at a store (Charrette perhaps) who asked if you needed help finding a pen. You said "yes", and she proceeded to describe endless details about pens to you. ...and you fell head over heels in love with her (who wouldn't!).

Of course! Oh, Pen Girl, what has become of you? I must find where you have gone because a man cannot live without a heart and you have surely taken mine away with you!

Both yesses. Some people might know about theirs, other people definitely don't. For example, NDN doesn't know I call him NDN.
