For those of you who've seen Minnie Driver's movies: do you think she looks better...

I only saw "Circle of Friends," so I can't really judge, except to say that she looked just like a regular person in that movie, and it's kinda sick that that was her "fat" movie, and that I've read (here and elsewhere) about how she was big in that movie and had to gain weight for the part. Hollywood is an ugly, ugly place. (oops--I just re-read the question and realized that it wasn't for me. I hope it's okay that I answered it anyway.)

Haven't seen all the movies. She looks alright in GWH, though.

I really think she looked great in "Circle of Friends" - I even think "a few extra pounds" is an unfair and biased thing to say. There was a picture of her on the cover of People Magazine in the last couple months that showed her with her new thin look and a lot of make-up. I thought she looked grotesque, and it kind of freaked me out. I really hope she's not starving herself - I really wish she'd go back to what I think is her natural weight from "Circle of Friends". Good survey, as you can see this was floating around in my head too.

I originally chose "with a few extra..." but I changed my mind. She's a gorgeous woman no matter how much she weighs. I did favor her in "Circle of Friends", however.

I used the phrase "a few extra pounds" because, based on interviews, that is, in fact, what it was. She *gained* weight to play that part. I happen to think she was beautiful in that movie and I found her grotesque in GWH, so I wondered what other people thought.

But Winona Ryder is my one true actress of desire, especially in "Roxy Carmichael." Sigh. 8)

I think I've only seen her in "Good Will Hunting." I think her face is kinda weird-looking. Her body seemed fine. **winona ryder is the most gorgeous creature on the face of the earth. Nothing has the right to be that beautiful.

I don't particularly care.

She's pretty much a babe no matter what.

I kind of thought its was Ben Affleck's movie, actually...

I picked "I don't think she's good-looking" 'cause it's the closest... mostly, she's just not my type at all.

i am not especially taken with minnie, or winona for that matter. i tend to prefer large-breasted blondes. ***just kidding

I haven't seen Circle of Friends but suspect, by extrapolation, that I'd like her best in that. She doesn't really do it for me in general, though.

I picked "not good-looking regardless", though also not bad-looking... I don't remember considering her attractiveness noteworthy in any of these movies.

I think she's babealicious, but that's more personality than actual looks.
