| milktree | posted 29-Apr-1998 5:52pm The thing about a gweep is that you really have to kill them in early spring if you want the meat to be tender, otherwise, you might as well eat a snork. *** Hey, Bill, what's the deal? Your dictionary couldn't find either gweep or snork, you might want to add them.*** Actually, Bill, it was intended to be friendly ribbing, and not a serious concern. gweep and snork aren't real words, as far as I know. |

| fiore | posted 30-Apr-1998 11:48am What is a gweep? BILL: thanks for the definition. Although I am a software engineer I just looked in the mirror. Nope, I don't see a gweep :) |
| mute | posted 30-Apr-1998 11:53am Uh, if you think this page is cool and comment on it a lot, chances are you're a gweep. You may not be in GweepCo, but that's probably just because you've never met us. |

| Gamera | posted 30-Apr-1998 1:11pm Gweep? I don't think I'm a gweep. I am commander in chief of my own one woman army (thanks AdF), and have rarely ever found any other label that fits be well (they usually bunch up in the arm-pits, are too big in the waist and too tight in the thighs, fit my left foot okay, but pinch the right ankle). |
| lizzie | posted 30-Apr-1998 4:42pm Definitely Red M&M's. Gweeps cannot conform. And yes, I am a gweep. gweep gweep gweep. |

| booker | posted 30-Apr-1998 9:01pm I guess I am just an "eep," since I don't know much about computers but I do dress funny and drink lots of soda. |
| Resy | posted 1-May-1998 3:48pm where is that darn dictionary ... oh - I just got done designing my own email form in MS Outlook for use with Software Releases (I'm the Software Configuration Manager). My coworker said that earns me the Propeller-Head Beanie award of the week. I told him just because I could create forms and design Oracle applications, didn't mean I was going to do any CODING ... I don't care if I did contribute to the Year 2000 COBOL fiasco ... I was a student assistant when I wrote that code, they weren't supposed to KEEP it after I got my grade! Geez, I guess I have to add gweep to my Personal Dictionary now ... ouch, my propeller just bounced off the CRT!! |

| elijahblue | posted 12-May-1998 10:47am I think this must have the same meaning as what people where I live (MD) call a "dweeb." |
| gilly | posted 14-Aug-1998 3:18pm What the heck is a gweep? |
| reality | posted 14-Aug-1998 4:49pm everything but Red M's. I hate red M's. (yes they do taste different, very few people believe me. **gilly: gweep refers to the sound made by certain terminal types *gweep* as opposed to the standard *beep* or whatever. people who were forever near the terminals/computer geeks began to be associated with the sound and were therefor called gweeps.. or I could be completely off base and it has another deeper hidden meaning.. |
