| mandy | posted 26-Mar-2000 4:45pm sometimes...I usually can't find it if I need it tho. |
| Maarten | posted 26-Mar-2000 4:48pm yep |
| Matt | posted 26-Mar-2000 6:03pm I usually always have paper, but its a pen I'm looking for. |
| Gamera | posted 26-Mar-2000 9:28pm The phones tend to wander through the house- if there's a pad of paper near where the phone landed last, all the better. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 27-Mar-2000 4:11am My computer was down so I made a fancy note planner that's grown to 2" thick. It all subdivides with 3 perforated levels of 7 possible tabs, so for instance, under Communications is a tab for conversation agendas, one of those sub tabs is freinds, one of those is Alaska, and from there it's filled with stacks of Post-It note lists per person. I plan to market the planners, they are cheaper, more versatile, and easier to use than DayPlanners for organizing an entire thought life on paper. |
| cpierson | posted 27-Mar-2000 9:31am I keep post-its around. |
| they | posted 27-Mar-2000 9:43am Always.. but only because the phone is next to the computer and we always keep paper by the computer. |
| gsparkm | posted 27-Mar-2000 10:35am I like keeping it there, but it tends to wander away! |
| phi | posted 27-Mar-2000 11:12am Whatever is next to the phone becomes scratch paper. To prevent this from causing problems I try to keep something there that I don't mind writing on. |
| Maggie | posted 27-Mar-2000 11:37am No |
| mary | posted 27-Mar-2000 11:53am Yes |
| drdt | posted 27-Mar-2000 12:02pm There is NO scrap paper in our house, but we have a whiteboard next to the phone dock. It gets pretty full. |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 31-Mar-2000 9:32pm I have old envelopes, junk mail, etc. next to my 'phone that I jot down information on when need arises. Then when I need something I can't find it because I have a hundred bits of old mail with things scribbled all over it stacked neatly next to the 'phone books. |
| Analog | posted 3-Apr-2000 4:16pm I have a computer by my phone, and I take notes on it rather than on paper. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 3-Apr-2000 9:05pm Everything minute detail of thought used to be on my computer, hyperlinked, catalogued, etc. When it went down (my cost for praying tesla down) & I made the hierarchial post-it notebook. I found I was free to visit freinds wintout printing spreadsheets, and could even turn the dang thing off when home awake, to bring back the realm of sun, wind, birds, & flowers. It's like a mind vs. body realm thing, and I've done way to much mind stuff. |
| Oscar | posted 5-Apr-2000 1:29pm I am a secretary, so of course I do. |
| sally | posted 7-Apr-2000 2:54pm no. i always write phone notes on the backs of other pieces of paper, which i lose and misplace. |
| powdered_donut | posted 13-Apr-2000 1:52pm i try too!!!! |
| Zang | posted 18-Apr-2000 4:34am I only have a cell phone, but I do carry around a note pad sometimes. |
| Avocado | posted 28-May-2000 9:36pm There are little stickynote pads, but they tend to get buried beneath books, papers, etc. |
| sunshine | posted 6-Jul-2000 8:40pm I would like it to be always but with kids having a blank tablet of paper in their reach will lead to a tablet of paper that is completely written on every page. |
