| Maarten | posted 25-Mar-2000 11:52am No, I look terrible on pictures. I look at least 20 pounds heavier on them! |
| they | posted 25-Mar-2000 12:41pm Not since I was about 8 months pregnant. I was swollen from head to toe then, and haven't lost much of the baby weight since I had her.. so I still avoid cameras. |
| SueBee | posted 25-Mar-2000 2:18pm No, but I don't object as much as I used to because I realize how annoying that is to the person with the camera. |
| robin | posted 25-Mar-2000 2:23pm I hate it. |
| mandy | posted 25-Mar-2000 2:40pm I really don't mind..... Just make sure you ask my permission first as not to get injured. |
| Enheduanna | posted 25-Mar-2000 3:33pm Yes, I admit it... |
| Matt | posted 25-Mar-2000 3:49pm I really dont like being on photos, thats why I try to be the one holding the camera when I can. |
| magbast | posted 25-Mar-2000 6:15pm sometimes, for mementos |
| Jane | posted 25-Mar-2000 8:24pm People tell me I'm really photogenic, so I usually don't mind. I know how to smile so I'll look good on film. |
| bill | posted 26-Mar-2000 3:41am no, but I make an effort to appear that I do because I like having pictures of myself and friends and I think holding up your hand or running away isn't cool |
| jonathan | posted 26-Mar-2000 3:02pm I like it when I feel good about myself, if I'm having a bad day then I'd rather not. |
| seanhuxter | posted 26-Mar-2000 4:16pm Sure. Though lately my hair sucks. But that doesn't stop me. |
| Strider | posted 26-Mar-2000 11:04pm If I know about it |
| Maggie | posted 27-Mar-2000 11:39am Only sometimes. Generally I prefer to be behind the camera. |
| Gamera | posted 27-Mar-2000 12:53pm Sort of- it's more like I think I rarely look good in pictures, but I am flattered if someone wants to take my picture. Others aren't as critical of me in pictures as I am, and every once in a while a good one comes out, and mostly the person taking the pictures is having fun, so there's a net positive in the whole equation. I prefer candids to "Hey everyone, stop what you're doing and look at my camera, so I can have a picture of what everyone looks like when they've stopped talking to look at a camera." style shots. |
| mary | posted 27-Mar-2000 1:25pm Yup |
| hammerme | posted 27-Mar-2000 2:45pm I don't care if my photo is taken or not. |
| guillem | posted 28-Mar-2000 6:25am Yes, when I look good in the picture. |
| jjg | posted 29-Mar-2000 3:05pm It steals your soul. |
| Gamera | posted 29-Mar-2000 3:07pm That doesn't answer the question, jjg- do you like having your soul stolen? |
| Oscar | posted 5-Apr-2000 1:31pm Not normally |
| SueBee | posted 6-Apr-2000 4:05pm Abnormally? |
| Oscar | posted 11-Apr-2000 5:02pm Not at all |
| icurok | posted 19-Apr-2000 5:15pm Ughhh, I despise having my photo taken. I think I'm blessed with an unfailing ability to be unphotogenic at all times, and as such when I hear the dreaded words "oooo there's one of YOU in this lot", my heart sinks and I cringe. |
| Tiggersgirl18 | posted 20-Apr-2000 6:11am only when I think and feel good!!! |
| BlueberryMuffin | posted 26-Apr-2000 4:31am Having 'photos taken of myself nude in public places if fun, but beyond that, no. |
| magbast | posted 26-Apr-2000 9:18pm blue- are you hadley? |

| joachim | posted 23-May-2000 4:54pm Not particularly. Well, kind of, actually. But they always come out looking... well looking like this: ![]() |
| Avocado | (reply to Gamera) posted 29-May-2000 12:13am I also prefer candid shots... generally of other people. I love my zoom lens for that reason... I am able to get those good candid shots without being obvious about it. Recently, I had my camera / zoom lens out at a conference, to take photos of the organizers. We were outside, and I'd just put my camera down, with the zoom lens still extended to maximum. Suddenly, a big yellow swallowtail butterfly wandered through, and lit on a leafy branch right behind me. Oh, wow. What a fortuitous moment! I got some amazing close-up shots of it. I can't wait to get them developed |
| Wicksy | posted 6-Jul-2000 8:26am only when I look good! |
| nihon | (reply to joachim) posted 7-Jul-2000 12:51pm So you always look pixelated and out-of-focus? |
| joachim | (reply to nihon) posted 12-Jul-2000 5:17pm I wish those were the worst of my problems. |
| Jemmy | posted 11-Aug-2000 5:53pm Depends how I look. |
| Maarten | (reply to joachim) posted 11-Aug-2000 6:57pm I think I just saw the devil... |
