| Matt | posted 18-Feb-2000 11:51pm There wont be another Jordan, like there wont be another Chamberlain. But the next dominating player in my opinion will be Vince Carter. |
| Matt | posted 18-Feb-2000 11:52pm I dont follow it either, but I do like to see the Vince Carter highlights though... |

| Matt | posted 19-Feb-2000 11:57am not that I'm aware, I wanted to add to my first post. |
| drdt | posted 20-Feb-2000 2:01am Michael Jordon is a reasonably mundane name, there could easily be another. Look at how many Michael Jacksons there are in the world |

| Resy | posted 25-Feb-2000 5:23pm *puffing out her chest in shameless pride* My son. He was coached by Jordan. Ok, so it was Mark Jordan .... and it was in Jr. High School ... whatever. |
| SueBee | posted 25-Feb-2000 6:38pm Resy - Does he really have pro potential, or are you just being a proud parent? |
| Resy | posted 1-Mar-2000 5:24pm SueBee - I can't deny I'm a proud parent. However, he is a high school freshman and they moved him up to the Jr. Varsity team (usually for sophmore's). He will probably play varsity next year (usually for jr's and sr's). He is 6'2" and just turned 15 years old. He can "palm" the basketball. He plays all positions on the team - which means he can handle the ball, defend, get rebounds, and make points. He usually double-doubles - which means he gets 10 or more rebounds and points per game. That is a sign of skill for his age. He is also an excellent sportsman -- no technical fouls, no swearing, no fighting. ...and again, I'm a an obviously proud parent. He is choosing a college based on a career choice AND the basketball program. We agree that his basketball career will be extremely successful if it pays for a degree. |
| SueBee | posted 2-Mar-2000 12:44am Resy - That's awesome! You have good reason to be proud!! |
