| Biggles | posted 23-Feb-2013 4:31am We used to play games at infant school to elicit sensations like this - either playing with someone's hair, or lightly drawing letters on their back with a finger. It would typically be done while sitting on the carpet at story time. The other times that I used to often experience a sensation like this was when someone borrowed something belonging to me - my pencil crayons for example. I think it was something I experienced most often as a young child though I think it has happened less often more recently too. |

| Enheduanna | posted 23-Feb-2013 10:42am I have never heard of it before. I'm not sure what you're describing, so I can't say if I've ever experienced it. |
| Enheduanna | posted 23-Feb-2013 10:44am Oh, from what Biggles said about hair, yes, I've experienced this. |
| cloudhugger | posted 24-Feb-2013 3:38pm Haven't heard of it even after reading some of the wiki article. I think that I know what this feeling is, according to the description this sounds familiar. I am not sure that I buy what they say it is %100. What I have always thought it to be is the cranial shifting due to nerve response to stimuli, and muscle shifting. I feel this happen when I eat something I may have an allergy to, or chemicals that I smell, visual emotional responses, or just emotiuonal responses can trigger a cranial shift. Sometimes when I am really angry, I feel my brain shift, and the cranial bones shifting. Most of the responses are of a negative nature when I feel them. It's difficult for me to think off hand if anything pleasurable would have this affect as it has been too many years since I haven't been pissed off or ill. |
| cloudhugger | posted 24-Feb-2013 3:39pm After reading Biggles and the rest, maybe I don't know what it is. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 24-Feb-2013 4:32pm I had tingling in my scalp when smoking cigarettes after doing a drug long long ago. Perhaps this woman is on drugs. On the other hand I've also seen auras years later while not doing drugs recently, so if she experiences it, I expect it's true in a fashion. |
| Dino | posted 25-Feb-2013 8:29am I don't recall experiencing this. |
