Which language would you choose to learn?

Spanish. Second Portuguese.

French. Of all the languages, it seems to roll nicely off the tongue.

I really need to improve my German, so that would be my choice. Though I would like to learn Arabic and Spanish as well.

German

The question to me would be more like what country would you choose to live in for 6 months.

Of those countries, Italy or maybe Germany. Of the languages, I'd like to learn Spanish and go live in Chile for six months.

Spanish because some people who live in my area speak Spanish and they cannot speak English. At times I wished I took SPanish in High school but back 22 years ago where I live everyone spoke English.

Well since I love Italian food, and Jodi and I REALLY want to visit Italy, I'm thinking Swahili.

Urdu would be the most useful language for me to learn, given the population of my city is about 5% Pakistani origin and mostly from Urdu speaking areas. Sadly, that isn't an option so I'll go with Punjabi. The only other language on the list that I would probably find useful on a semi-regular basis would be Arabic.

I'd choose Italian (though there are quite a few languages here I'd like to learn).
I like the Italian language a lot, and I would love to live in Italy.

(related note - I'm currently learning Croatian, as my plan is to retire in Croatia. I'd love to move there sooner, but it's not likely a work visa situation will arise for me. Croatia has a lot of Italian influence, being just across the Adriatic, but has plenty of it's own character as well.)

Portuguese. It would mean I'm going to Portugal, though I probably wouldn't stay on our land there unless we bring a tent.

Functionally, French. I'm already half way there to speaking it (okay, 1/10 there).

I would love to learn Italian, but I fail to see how it will improve my life. I would've picked Spanish if I lived in the US.

I'd like to learn Italian because I love the language. But Mandarin intrigues me.

I already know some French, German, and Spanish. I'm not as adamant about staying brushed up though as I see my liklihood of visiting these countries decreasing.

I already know German, so I guess I'd brush up on that.
