What shade of blonde was I?

Your natural hair is nice.

From the photo that I see I would say a light ash brown color or maybe a warm ash blond (it appears a bit darker than this to me though).
No reds or brassy color to it, most definitely is an ash color.

Lesson learned (as I did many years ago) easy to go from light to dark, next to impossible to go from really dark to a very light shade and look normal.

OMIGOSH, yes. I tried everything to take it out, but my mistake was that I acted on a sudden urge and bought a store lightener while I was doing my groceries. It took my hair light all right, LIGHT BLUE.

Ash blonde.

It's hard to say, as I imagine it would look slightly different under different light. It looks pretty much the same colour as my brother's hair and I would tend to call it "dirty blonde". Under certain lights, I think it would be more of an ash blonde.

Light brown

The term dishwater blonde comes to mind...

That's a light sable-auburn.

Dye it blue then. It's a lost cause anyhow until you grow it again. You might as well have fun with it now when you wouldn't take the chance otherwise.

I agree with Kristal_Rose - time for blue or other color while you wait.
