Scenario: You start a great new job that has a strange vacation schedule. You get to have 1 month off each year, and nothing else. Which month would you pick?

MAY or september, to have still some sun but to avoid turists...

Christmas. And skiing. And New Year's Eve, though working Jan 1st would really suck.

Definitely spring or fall... Probably May, since it's before the vacation rush.

I prefer to travel off season, but I don't want to hike around in hot or cold weather. September is a good compromise.

My birthday is in that month, and Italy is beautiful that time of year.

He he... strange vacation schedule? I've this one! I've a legal vacation month to choose between july, august or september. I prefer september... (of course, this is Spain, and we have many other "one day" holidays :).

February may be the shortest month, but it's also the month during which I most want to be *out* of Boston

June is some of the best weather of the year in San Diego.

I picked March. It's long and no holidays already, so maximum bang for the buck. A nice break from a difficult winter. I'd travel.

Why? because there are no holidays and no people rushing to get tickets to see their families, the airlines are peaceful.

If it has to be the same month every year, then May. Otherwise I'd drift at random.

I suppose I'd have to pick September, to try to get the High Holidays in it, but pretty much I quit. If I didn't have to worry about the Jewish holidays I think I'd take July - summer is such a nice time to be lazy.

I would find a job that didn't only give me a crappy 4 weeks holiday a year. I mean, seriously, 4 weeks??? I get 7 currently, and that's only because I'm fairly new.

But to answer the survey...I would go for something in spring or autumn - either march or october probably...Hmm, let's say October this year!
