What's your porn star name?

Here's an experiment: A classmate of mine from an old speech class joked that one day he would like to become a porn star. He came up with an almost fool-proof way of customizing your own porn star name: Take the name of your very first pet as your first name and use the name of the first street you ever lived on as your last name.

Of course, if you've never owned a pet, then you can make the first name up. And if the first street you ever lived on was not a proper noun (ie. 146th Street), then use the next available proper street name that you can remember.

I have no idea how my first cat got to be named "snowgoat," but it's only marginally better as a porn-star name than "gearbox." I've heard some really good ones out of this formula, though.

Butch Forest... would probably work for a guy. I had originally heard this done by taking your middle name as your first name and your street as the last name. That works much better for me - Lee Forest.

My first pet was named Quennie (a female dog). My first street was Clarkson. I don't think Quennie Clarkson would work for a male pornstar unless I was in transsexual flicks.

Nope, mine doesn't even sound like a porn star name: Blacky De Klencke. It doesn't work, not even in the Dutch language.
But I've heard this one different: the name of your first pet + your mother's maidenname. Then it would be Blacky Thomas. That's a little better.

Well, almost. We had a poodle named Mac when I was in jr high school and the first address I can remember was 117 Fleetwood St, Presque Isle, Maine though I know I lived at least five other places before that.

I've recently been reminded of an earlier pet. I think he gives it a better ring. Shalom Ramona...

(He was named Shalom because he was always coming and going. At least one other family thought they owned him. We found out 'cause we shared a vet as well as a dog.)
