| Galomorro | posted 21-Dec-2009 8:40pm I got an 8. My sister, who sent me this, got a 15. Looks like my powers of observation need a lot of work. |
| RainingFeathers | posted 21-Dec-2009 9:15pm I got 19/25. A few guesses in there, but most of my correct answers I knew were right. |

| bill | posted 22-Dec-2009 7:11am 18 Though, I take exception with the drain question. There is no set way that water drains. http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/149/do-ba... "The boring truth is that water drains every which way no matter what hemisphere you're in, for reasons which have to do mostly with the shape of the drain, the way you poured in the water in the first place, and so on." Given this, I wonder if some of the other questions asked where also erroneous. |
| Lysannus | (reply to bill) posted 22-Dec-2009 8:01am Yes, I agree. Some of the questions have multiple answers. One that jumped out at me was the one about carousels and the way they turn. I live in an area that has 6 within 15 min of each other. 4 turn counterclockwise and 2 turn clockwise. It all has to do with the gearing. |
| FordGuy | posted 22-Dec-2009 8:01am 24 out of 25 >> Thats Awesome! I disagree with the lug nut question, got it wrong. Guessed at the blinds question, got it right. |

| cerealkiller | posted 22-Dec-2009 2:38pm This is bullcrap. Some answers are not absolute. Like the one about adjusting blinds. You can order blinds to adjust on either side. Some others are like that too. |

| cloudhugger | posted 22-Dec-2009 2:44pm I agree about the lug nut, the correct answer would have been "depends" |
| ASB | (reply to bill) posted 22-Dec-2009 2:53pm Yeah they were not all single answer questions. I have a fan next to me that I looked at before I answered and it said I was wrong. |
| Biggles | posted 22-Dec-2009 7:05pm 17, but at least one of the answers was wrong and it was very US-centric. |

| LindaH | posted 23-Dec-2009 1:38pm I don't know if I'd call it "powers" of observation on the part of someone who just plain has no interest in paying attention to details. I could be observant if I tried, but I'm not trying. |
