| dab | posted 8-Dec-2009 3:30pm We have watched Survivor in the past. No longer. And we watched a few episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition because a friend was working on one of the houses the built. We didn't see her. |

| labjog | posted 8-Dec-2009 5:24pm I sometimes watch, AMW, Cops and supernanny. |
| Richard47 | posted 8-Dec-2009 5:27pm I like "Cops" |
| Biggles | posted 8-Dec-2009 5:53pm None of them. I think a few of them are shown on satellite channels here, but I only get the five terrestrial channels at home. I did like the original British Supernanny, but haven't seen any full episodes of her US series. |

| Biggles | (reply to Iseult) posted 8-Dec-2009 8:09pm I think there may have been a British Survivor at one point, but it had poor ratings and was cancelled pretty quickly. Big Brother was much bigger here (though ratings have fallen and I don't think there's going to be another now). We still have I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here which dumps a load of (mostly Z-list) celebrities in the jungle and makes them do tasks like eating kangaroo testicles or sitting in a box with spiders. I think there's also something like Celebrity Love Island where they hope desperately that if they get a bunch of (again Z-list) celebrities drunk enough, they might cop off with each other.
I don't watch any of them! Though I have been watching the X-Factor (like Canadian Idol) which is really rubbishy TV, but was vaguely worth it (while I was spending entire weekends on my own in a small town where I'd been sent on placement) until these guys got voted off. |
| Iseult | (reply to Biggles) posted 8-Dec-2009 8:43pm Well, it seems you have all the crappy reality shows that we have, too.
I heard of those guys, they're very entertaining. Wasn't Susan Boyle on X Factor? |
| LindaH | posted 8-Dec-2009 8:48pm I don't watch TV |
| Biggles | (reply to Iseult) posted 8-Dec-2009 8:52pm Susan Boyle was on Britain's Got Talent, but she came second to a dance act, Diversity (and their audition.) |
| Iseult | (reply to Biggles) posted 8-Dec-2009 10:18pm Were the both shows hosted by Simon Cowell? |
| LJD | posted 9-Dec-2009 12:40am None |
| cloudhugger | posted 9-Dec-2009 7:03am Survivor
And my Mary watches the Biggest Loser, so I see it by default. I can do without it, but it gives Mary someone to discuss it with. |
| Biggles | (reply to Iseult) posted 9-Dec-2009 8:01am Yes, he has his fingers in a lot of pies. |
| Iseult | posted 9-Dec-2009 9:17am I can name four shows that he's hosted off the top of my head. I have watched American Idol at one point and Simon was the only interesting thing (well, beside the drunken Paula). |
| Enheduanna | posted 9-Dec-2009 11:01am I don't watch any of these. I'm not a fan of reality/competition shows. |
| icurok | posted 9-Dec-2009 2:35pm None of them. I've watched the occasional episode of the US version of Supernanny, but for no other reason that it was on.
When I was a kid, my parents had Sky TV and I remember watching COPS on Sky One, but I've not seen it in years. |
| gambler | posted 9-Dec-2009 8:00pm I used to follow biggest loser- but no more, I hate reality shows because they are so contrived |
| Moogie | posted 9-Dec-2009 9:07pm Nate makes me watch COPS, he wants to be one so he is obsessed with the show. |
| llamamama | posted 10-Dec-2009 12:52pm I've seen pretty much all of these over the course of my life..with the exception of Find My Family. Most of these I do not watch on a regular basis except for Extreme Makeover (by accident) and America's Funniest Home Videos. Survivor is only "watched" on Thursdays because we come home and Community is on...so we change the channel so as not to spoil anything. And everyonce in awhile I'll watch AMW. But not really.
COPS...that is so 1994 hahahaha |
| kirst | posted 13-Dec-2009 8:05am None; Even if I lived back in the US, I wouldn't watch any of those. |
| rustygirl50 | posted 13-Dec-2009 9:06am NONE of the above. Heros on monday night at 8pm on N.B.C. |
| Gomezy3k | posted 13-Dec-2009 10:53am None since reality shows suck. I loathe them with a passion since they have NOTHING to do with reality. Perhaps if they did Suvivor where the people actually had to survive and the last one standing won then it might be interesting, but watching them play stupid games is not something I want to watch. Drop em off on an Island with a knife and the last one alive wins, yeah I would watch that. |
| ASB | posted 17-Dec-2009 4:41pm Not big on reality shows. I like Supernanny because I think she has very good ideas on how to raise children. |
| they | posted 19-Dec-2009 12:41pm I watch the following if there's nothing better to watch:
Extreme Home Makeover, Find My Family, Supernanny I look forward to and always watch: Biggest Loser, Survivor |
