| romkey | posted 5-Dec-1999 10:56am I pressed some flowers in cards that I sent some friends from Bali, but that's about it. |
| Avocado | posted 5-Dec-1999 11:09am I have some petals in a book that Mom pressed in 1957 :) |
| drdt | posted 5-Dec-1999 11:39am My grandfather pressed every four-leafed clover he ever found. My grandmother didn't, but then again she found them everywhere so it was no big deal for her. It was something of a challenge for the rest of us. |
| APiscean | posted 5-Dec-1999 3:50pm half the time i just dry them because that way i have plants i don't have to kill by not giving them water |
| Halo | posted 5-Dec-1999 3:57pm uh huh. :) |
| mandy | posted 5-Dec-1999 5:16pm I have pressed flowers in books of poetry in the past, now I prefer to hang them to dry and that way keep a reminder forever of how it felt to be presented with blooms ;) |
| Jane | posted 5-Dec-1999 10:13pm I dried a rose my boyfriend gave me and my corsage from homecoming. |
| Mariah | posted 6-Dec-1999 5:19pm Just my corsage from my junior year. Well, maybe more, but that's the only one I remember. I always put four leaf clovers into a photo album, but they're not really flowers. |
| kristalynn | posted 6-Dec-1999 10:36pm I dry all my flowers...they are usually from funerals and I think they look a lot prettier dead and dry..I keep them on a little ceramic coffin i made...i love my dead flowers :) |
| Maggie | posted 24-Dec-1999 10:06am I dried a dozen cream colored roses that I got for High school graduation. My cat knocked them over and they broke a week later. |
| eris | posted 6-Jan-2000 4:28pm I did a few a long time ago. I've no idea what happened to them. |
| lonxedosol | posted 12-Jan-2000 4:04pm I save them for potions or spells. |
| SueBee | posted 23-Jan-2000 9:39pm lonxedosol - Do you know any to help our sore butts? I sit in this chair too much! |
| natsim | posted 25-Jan-2000 12:02pm I haven't done it for a long time, though. Besides pressing and hanging, I also used to put flowers in a box of dry sand for a week or so. That used to work well. I also used to pack petals into a bottle with water, thinking I'd make beautiful perfume. It used to ferment and smell disgusting, but Mum always said "Oh, Thank you, how lovely". I was about 7. |
| Maarten | posted 25-Jan-2000 9:47pm No, I donīt. I actually have a life! .-) |
| petite1 | posted 28-Jan-2000 8:52pm A few flowers from high school when I used to keep a scrapbook. |

| bluebird1974 | posted 3-Mar-2000 11:00am How about an option yes and I am unhappy with the results. |
