What is your definition of a friend?

Mm, why is this a "quiz"? Who let that get by?

A friend of the same sex should give you advice when needed, help you move furniture, lend you his tools, be someone to hang out with and someone who never wants to borrow money from you. A friend as in a female listens to you, gives you impartial advice, nude photos of themselves and lollipops when needed.

For me it's mostly someone I can speak my mind and heart with about anything.

Trust, honesty, loyalty.... Someone I can talk to about 'anything', and respect my privacy.

They'll sleep with just about anyone, I expect.

They should be receptive and nonjudgmental. Someone you can be yourself around, without them casting negative judgments. Negative judgments are the first thing that scratches a person off a potential friend list.

I don't know. I'm tired of typing and changing my answer. I've spent enough time on this survey. So my answer is just 'I don't know'.

Friends need to be persons who'll stay by you & support you no matter what. There are just too many "fair weather" friends out there who really are not friends at all: merely acquaintences!

A friend is someone who does not injure you or others or, through inaction, allow you or others to come to harm.
A friend is someone who will listen to you, unless of course in doing so they hurt you or others.
A friend is someone who takes care of themselves, but puts themself in harms way to prevent harm from coming to you or others.

No idea since I do not do friends much... I suppose someone who has similar interests and who you can tolerate for short periods of time (as opposed to most people who you cannot tolerate for any period of time).

Someone you can trust.

Someone that doesn't stab me in the back to save themselves
Someone that cares about you enough to check on you often in the week
