Do you dislike when websites you frequent change the style or formatting of their page layouts?

Many websites periodically "improve" their website pages supposedly to enhance your experience.

Yes, I generally hate it. They make totally new home pages with a "new look". I get used to where everything is and then I have to try to find links on their "new" layout. Yahoo even deleted one of the main links I always used. At least those butt-holes let you go back to the "classic" look. If the look is classic, why fudge with it?

it depends... facebook seem to do this a lot and I usually find it mildly annoying, then I get used to it, then they change it again.

As long as it doesn't stop me from doing what I did before, I dont mind pushing a different button to get there.

Yes. Generally, website make their designs more complex and add all the annoying stuff that makes them take longer to load. I like simple websites with minimal graphics.

No, not really, as I haven't experienced much of this that I can remember really annoying me. I usually am indifferent or like the changes. Like StumbleUpon, for instance, I think their changes have actually enhanced my experiences with it.

I think 'Yes' and "I hate it' are the same option (dislike/hate) so I will say that I don't care...it has only affected me with "YouTube" when they changed their page layout (a few months back)...and I do not like it (but will live with it * smile * )

I don't mind, unless it becomes harder to navigate.

Depends on if I think the change makes it better.

God, I hate it (especially when it's my school's website). I don't have the time to find where everything is.

I absolutely dislike supposedly enhanced websites! Many times the simplicity of the site is great and then they get "educated" or "fancy" and you can't find or navigate to save your life! More bells and whistles doesn't mean it's better!

These "improvements" are confusing. When they decide to change the layout, you have to look for where everything went. It's almost like when my grandmother cleans the house. Things end up missing.

Um. If things never changed, we'd all be playing with rocks and dragging our doges around by the hair.

I do customer support for several different websites. People dog at the smallest formatting change. But, guess what? They dog when things don't change too. People just need something to dog about.

People = a bunch of whiny doges * rolls eyes *

It depends on whether it's actually an improvement.

Yes, I hate it. I prefer it when things stay where they are and continue to look like they did when I started. Usually when an upgrade happens it totally * up the whole website and makes it non-user friendly.
