| LJD | posted 2-Nov-2009 7:21am I haven't worn 'nylons', pantyhose in years. When I did wear them, I wore nude, beige, or black lace. |
| Jody | posted 2-Nov-2009 7:45am I think Pantyhose are an evil plot. They're expensive, fragile, and uncomfortable. |
| Galomorro | posted 2-Nov-2009 11:51am IMHO, I do not understand why women would want to wear something so clingy and flimsy, but then that's me, with my practical clothing preferences. I can't understand high heels either. If women want to wear sox and leggings to keep them warm, this I can certainly understand, but not all those boring, blah colors mentioned above. I'd prefer seeing very bright leotards -- blue, red, yellow, green, patterns, etc. I detest and despite all "business" wear, whether for men or women. |
| mandy | posted 2-Nov-2009 12:36pm Black tights or fishnets only |
| coffee5437 | posted 2-Nov-2009 1:02pm again, what? I like to put them over my head until they make my eyes water and my nose run |
| Enheduanna | posted 2-Nov-2009 1:19pm I don't wear pantyhose. |
| Iseult | posted 2-Nov-2009 5:10pm Sheer black or opaque grey.
Or whatever Fordguy's wearing. He makes it all look hawt. |
| Richard47 | posted 2-Nov-2009 6:43pm I have no interest in this. |

| Crayons | (reply to Galomorro) posted 2-Nov-2009 6:50pm Women? How long have you been on this site? Whenever I see the word Pantyhose, I think of men in them. And I am forever scarred for life. |
| Galomorro | (reply to Richard47) posted 2-Nov-2009 6:52pm True - I actually can understand why straight guys think women's legs look good in high heels and colorless hose. |
| Galomorro | (reply to Crayons) posted 2-Nov-2009 6:54pm HAH. I think about older women who have to wear this kind of thing at work, because I used to work in an office where women did so, so remember this with distaste. As for guys wearing this, doesn't do a thing for me either. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Galomorro) posted 2-Nov-2009 7:12pm The philosophy behind most business wear is to avoid 'standing out' or looking too 'ostentatious'; a collective blending in with small individual differences, a tie/scarf color and such. But not to distract from the professional atmosphere, so peoples words speak louder than their clothes. |
| Galomorro | (reply to Richard47) posted 2-Nov-2009 10:42pm I know this and I have always hated this as it was always so boring and uglee -- all that bland "dress for success" krapola. Ditto for the boring old-style office atmosphere in grays and beiges. UGH. Ties especially! Gawd but I've always hated ties. Fortunately I never had to wear 'em (except for a couple of interviews long ago) cuz I worked as one of a bunch of lowly clerical employees in a big drab room and didn't have to "greet the public." To me, the more colorful the office and the employees' styles, the better I worked. |
| Lysannus | posted 3-Nov-2009 6:21am When I have to wear them it would be black, but I prefer not to. Evil denizens, they must have been created by some men who don't wear the things. |
| FordGuy | posted 3-Nov-2009 8:09am And no, I did not make this survey. |

| Rosemary | posted 3-Nov-2009 2:38pm Most times I don't wear or like pantyhose. When I do it is usually nude colored |
| autumnlight | posted 3-Nov-2009 4:00pm Black or nude. |
| FordGuy | (reply to icurok) posted 4-Nov-2009 9:12am What about hairnets? |
| icurok | (reply to FordGuy) posted 4-Nov-2009 9:32am |
| they | posted 4-Nov-2009 9:34am I would most likely buy nude from these choices.
But if there was an "Other", I would have said striped tights. |
| they | (reply to FordGuy) posted 4-Nov-2009 9:36am > And no, I did not make this
> survey. No, but you created the monster |
| FordGuy | (reply to they) posted 5-Nov-2009 7:45am I dunno. I don't think I did the first pantyhose survey. I'm just the guy that wears them. But then I'm not fetishy (is that a word?) about it - I have poor leg circulation, so they help with that, plus I think they're just plain groovy. |
| FordGuy | (reply to icurok) posted 5-Nov-2009 7:47am Well you know, I don't think we've had any good pee surveys for a while. |
| Lysannus | (reply to FordGuy) posted 6-Nov-2009 12:10am FordGuy, poor leg circulation. I don't think standard pantyhose would help there much. There are support hose but they are of a heavy fabric and don't run as do standard pantyhose (grandmother had them for poor leg circulation). As for standard pantyhose you can have all mine, if I don't have to wear them I don't. (and even when I should I don't) |
