Alcohol. It's too easy to go to a liquor store for painkillers rather than to a doctor.

I don't think my money is "wasted" on anything. If I want to treat myself to something, I deserve it. I USED to waste my money on illegal substances, however, which I regret now cuz back then I could've been putting the money away to buy a house.

I don't waste money much but if I had to say one thing I would say I waste food because I really don't like to cook very much.

I don't waste money but I rarely deny myself anything that I want within reason. I refuse to get into a ton of debt so I think that I set realistic limits on what I can and can not spend. Big toys and vacations take a bit more planning but being spontaneous is fun too.

Since we don't cook buying all meals from restaurants could be considered wasting money. To most people spending $350 a month on cigarettes (two of us) is wasteful. To me they are a necessity and one of the few pleasures in life. I don't "need" cigarettes but I want them. I go all day at work without needing a smoke.

Probably food, although for a while I was helping a couple of friends who were disabled and pretty much broke. My girlfriend started smoking again so she wastes it on cigs... Hint Hint Rustygirl... Heh Heh...

I dont see it as wasting? ,......... I gamble online and can drop $1000 in one session, but I weigh this against income and the fact that I have wins of $4000 to?

Probably clothes & cosmetics, besides cigarettes. I buy stuff on eBay which turns out to not be what I had in mind.

Do you pay extra for your medical insurance? Under my plan, you and your wife would pay $1200/year for being smokers.

No. The medical insurance comes from my company. There is no discrimination based on being a smoker, overweight, pre-existing conditions, etc. Now if I had to go out and BUY health insurance myself my wife and I both would be denied because of health issues and being smokers.

I don't have to worry about that either regarding life insurance. My company totally pays for over $250k of life insurance on me. I have nothing on my wife. Guess I'd have to dump her body in the ocean when she dies.
