| Crayons | posted 30-Oct-2009 12:02am No. In case you are wondering, Satan and the Devil aren't the same thing. Well, not to me. the devil is a noun, Satan is a name. Kind of like that. |

| Richard47 | posted 30-Oct-2009 2:39am No, I really do not believe that there are evil spirits/ demons/ Satan/ hauntings/ ghosts/poltergeist/ exorcism/psychics/channelors....or any of that (yet) I still am somewhat religious/spiritual. I believe in God and that we go on in an afterlife and our 'passed loved ones' are our guiders but I do not believe in any of the other hocus pocus. It is too way out there. |
| Wicksy | posted 30-Oct-2009 6:13am No, it's a fabrication used by the church to entice people into join them. |
| cprasky | posted 30-Oct-2009 10:32pm No I don't. No "I don't know" here. I believe there is no Devil, nor any demons or anything like that. |
| Gomezy3k | posted 1-Nov-2009 11:08am If you believe in the devil then you must believe in a god. IF there is a god, I think he/she/it is both good and mostly bad and therefore both god and the devil at the same time. If god exists, in the supposed bible that is his words, he promises "ask and ye shall receive" and "Knock and it will be opened." Of course how many times have any one's prayers really been answered? Damn few. Therefore the supposed christian god gives one hope and then dashes the hopes when the prayers are not answered. God is the greatest evil there is...we do not need a devil, we have god (if he exists). |

| risingroad | posted 5-Nov-2009 9:21am I believe in negative thinking can bring about devilish manifestations. If enough think the same negative thoughts, like "whenever two or more gather in my name" concept, then the ball starts rolling towards that result. 100th monkey theory. Our minds are so powerful and to have a concentration of the same feeling and thought with intention... whoa, watch out! AND that is my belief only backed up by my own experiences that it is true. I don't require anyone else to believe it because I have enough people around me that do. |

God is the greatest evil there is...we do not need > a devil, we have god (if he exists). Well, good news, Gomez, I have my prayers or hopes manifested all the time. It took me a long time and a lot of shedding of negative thinking and negative people but darn if it doesn't happen all the time for me. Because I just plain let go. I think of what I would like to achieve as if I already have it and how does that feel and then it happenes. If it doesn't then I was on the wrong track. But, to let go is the key. "When we least expect it..." The creator, universe, whatEVER, can't have it if we don't let go. I let go because the power can't work it if you don't. It's like, "HEY, when you are really ready to let go of that thing so I can work it, then let me know, Okay!?" Sorry, I don't mean to lecture. I guess I was, huh. Some call it Let Go, Let God. I'm not a christian either and some phrases from the bible seem to make sense but are also said in a lot of other religions and philosophies. If they only of hadn't of messed with the bible back then (and still do) and changed all its real history.... |
