| Richard47 | posted 30-Oct-2009 1:22am I admit that I cry at movies, and it doesn't usually take much...I'm like a chick that way. A few weeks back I watched an old Robert DeNiro/Meryl Streep movie called, "Falling in Love" (1984)...and the film had a typically Hollywood ending (where they rush into each others arms). Yup, I cried. |

| Enheduanna | posted 30-Oct-2009 12:06pm I cried a little at a movie I saw a little over a month ago. I think that was the last time. I just teared up a bit, though--it wasn't outright bawling. I think the last time I had a really serious cry was over 6 months ago. |
| cerealkiller | posted 30-Oct-2009 12:25pm When a cat died, probably over a year ago. I don't cry over all of them that die. Before that about 10 years ago when my mother died. |

| cprasky | posted 30-Oct-2009 9:49pm Do you mean all out crying with sobs and such? Or just shedding a few silent tears? |

I always shed a few tears when I think about that story of Beethoven at the conclusion of the premiere of the Ode to Joy in Vienna, where supposedly he was continuing to conduct an orchestra that was no longer playing, until the real conductor kind of nudged him so he would turn around to see the audience applauding wildly. This is one of those stories that might not be true, but you think it oughtta be. |
